Smoke detector went of at 2am and again 25 mins later. Only way to stop it was to leave a window open at the front of the apartment. Which meant an early wakeup when other guests started packing their cars at 6am. The staff said the batteries may have been faulty but they only replace them as a batch (all apartments at the same) but thankfully we were only there one night. Unit is quite small.

The room was lovely and clean with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean, and it was quiet. We were on the first floor and had a lovely balcony. I would have been happy to have spent longer there. The best thing, however, was the manager and her partner (apologies, I don't remember their names). The thing is, due to changed travel plans, my friend and I arrived one day early and didn't have a reservation for that evening. We fronted up at the desk assuming there would be no room available for that night since the entire region was solidly booked during summer school holidays. Initially, the manager advised there was no vacancy and we figured we'd be sleeping in our rental car. However, she subsequently advised that there was a small room she could make available prior to moving into our scheduled room the following night. This room was small but they made it as comfy as possible for the two of us, then arranged to have our booked room cleaned first thing the next morning so we could immediately move into it instead of waiting for the regular 2pm check-in time. These two people made our stay in the area so very pleasant and my friend and I remain so very grateful that they made every effort to accommodate us. Thank you so much......I'd definitely stay at your property again.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The room was comfortable and everything was well kept, and the location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, which was so convenient. The lady at the reception was super helpful and friendly, and she made the whole experience feel very welcoming. Overall, a great place to stay and excellent value.

View was gorgeous. It was also opposite a cafe with great coffee and food Alimento, which I really enjoyed. I could hear a neighbouring holidayer in the middle of the night banging around. Other than that, it was quiet.

Friendly, kind and helpful staff, perfect communication. Simple old fashioned accommodation at a very fair price.

The motel was beachfront although our room was next row back. Still very good position but without the view.

Previous tenant had wound the thermostat on the fridge which froze everything including salad veges which then had to be tossed in bin. Not any fault of staff but unfortunate.

No air-conditioning/heating on the wall but the room was well insulated.

Cutleries, microwaves and plates were available to whip up a meal which was appreciated. Heater was available which was great during the cold nights.

Could hear traffic from early morning. Rooms are abit dated but this wasn't unexpected when booking.

There were extensive views of the ocean from our upper level bedroom and there was a boat ramp and a jetty for fishing nearby. Although certain aspects of our room were dated, there had been some efforts to upgrade the room. The room for had a visible gap letting in cold air but we improvised a door stop. The staff were very friendly and helped us with information about Freycinet. There was an excellent bakery in town where we stopped to have breakfast.

Although the motel was not in the center of the town it was located close to a very nice cafe and within easy walking distance of some of the restaurants. The view from the room was good as it overlooked the bay. There were washing and drying facilities on the premises which were very handy. It was clean and functional with standard motel provisions. We especially liked the picture :).

Parking was a bit cramped. The view from the rooms would have been superb if there was not for the parking area in front of it.

Our room was Very run down and old . Entry to our room key lock , was all chipped as though someone has tried to break in . No proper lock or security.

Great location on the water. Place was clean and reasonably well maintained
