Deloraine Hotel

The kitchen (a dishwasher!), lounge and outdoor deck were excellent. The best I¿ve seen at a hotel.

Beautiful old pub that has been tastefully restored maintaining its old world charm. The ambience is very welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and best of all the communal kitchen and lounge areas are super comfortable and a nice place to chat with fellow travellers. The large deck is a nice place to relax. Staff are super friendly and nice.

It was clean, bed was comfortable.

If it had an air conditioner we could close the window and block out the outside noises.

Staff were wonderful. Loved how this old building has been renovated and looked after. Car park option was very good. Had a terrific dinner in the hotel cafe. Thank you.

The 88 steps to our room was a challenge. And we both needed to work on laptops during our stay. So table to sit at with access to power would have been good.

The room is small, but it is very clean, and bright. The bed is comfortable. Share area is clean as well. Staff is friendly. Really enjoy my stay.

Nice old hotel in great location looking over the river. Decor no frills but fine. Whilst there is no crockery or glasses in room there is a very well supplied kitchenette and lounge area for visitors upstairs. We dined in the hotel restaurant. Had a lovely meal.

No breakfast supplied, which may bother some but as we bring our own we were very happy with the facilities. Quite a few stairs to upper rooms.

Helen went above and beyond to give clear directions for after-hours check-in on short notice. Facilities are clean and beds are comfortable. Will definitely be staying again!

Quiet, good restraunt on site, parking on site, walk to shops/ river.There was a big communal kitchen upstairs with fridge, toaster, microwave, dining table- overlooking park opposite.

Just be mindful if you have a bulky bag to walk up stairs.

Location and off street parking.

Room size was very very small & set up odd for the bed side lights and tv location.

Staff were friendly. Lovely old building.

Shared kitchen was very dirty, hadn't been cleaned in a while. Beds were hard, room dirty and dusty.

The single bed isn’t flat, and sleeping on it gives me back pain.

Value for money. Simple, no fuss check-in. Room cosy, heater already on for us. Bathroom, excellent shower, had a large head, so good coverage. There is a share kitchen/lounge with microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and plenty of cutlery and crockery and teas, coffee etc. Plus TV.'There are plenty of toilets and bathrooms with toilets for the shared facility rooms. All spotless.There is an excellent, reasonably priced restaurant, which also does take away. Staff are great.

The train goes past, close by, during daylight hours, which is OK, but also around 3am. So double glazing would be good. We had earplugs

I booked for the solo room- it was much smaller and simpler than I thought with no wardrobe and any amenities apart from a small desk, though the room has a window it has no views. These were only minor concerns, overall I enjoyed my stay and the room was good for value

Comfy bed, no staff disturbances, modern bathroom

Stairs so steep, couldn't carry our suitcase up to top floor and had to exchange rooms. Nowhere to hang clothes, no shelf in shower to hold soap etc... , couldn't find the fire/emergency exit info (having been in hotel fire before). As no breakfast on site a local eateries/sights info booklet would be good

Good big room with fireplace-like electronic heater.Very close to the centre of town and nearby train park and river.

It is very close to the train track. Multiple trains passed through the night and woke me up.

I had stayed at the Deloraine Hotel a week earlier for a few nights and knew what to expect - a charming old hotel with clean rooms etc. with the bonus of wonderful dining. This return visit did not disappoint! Great value for money and I will certainly use it again on future visits.

Close to the main street of shops, overlooking creek and park. Good parking. Dinner downstairs. Plenty of options for shared toilet and shower.

Very noisy, especially in the morning with people slamming doors on their exit and kids running through corridors early morning. Otherwise pretty good. Good value for $

Always happy with this pub stay. Shared bathrooms are clean and equipped well and present no disadvantage.
