Beautifully renovated and kept old charm. Friendly and proactive management and staff.

It was very clean, spacious and comfy and had everything we needed. So welcoming to arrive to heaters and lights on. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated and the beds were amazing! Bathrooms and kitchen were all beautiful and the garden and back verandah were just perfect. A home away from home (but a bit nicer!)

If I was going to be really picky, I'd suggest they had a few extra items for guests like kitchen paper towels (I always find them useful) and a few more kitchen basics (salt, pepper, etc)

The house is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It accommodates our big grop comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful cottage, interior styling was a mixture of modern and rustic. Very relaxing stay. Wish we had more time in Tassie just so we could stay longer.

The lock on the door leading to the verandah wasn’t working, and wifi wasn’t working either.

Pearce's cottage looked tiny from the outside but inside ...it kept on going. We were so thrilled and loved the layout and the beautiful, enclosed garden & deck. Also, all the small touches.

We could only get channels ABC & SBS working on the TV - would have liked to watch mainstream TV during the evening,

A wonderful overnight stay, everything was perfect - comfy beds and beautiful furnishings. We arrived very late at night and delighted to find the house was lit and felt at home straight away. We wished we had booked for longer. We will be back! Thank you

No wifi

It was very spacious and cosy, the kitchen was stocked with essentials (except salt) and the location was great.

The wifi didn’t work

We had originally booked a 1 bed cottage but was upgrade! What a Beautiful 'cottage' we had, we arrived later than we thought how Lovely it was to open the door and walk into a lovely cosy room! 'Fire place' going after a long drive was very welcoming. Beautiful furnishings, nice comfy beds and everything you need in the bathroom! Only wish we had more time here? Because we running late the host was very good with commutation, phone call, messages and even a video showing us how to find our cottage,so very friendly and helpfull.Would definitely recommend to family and friends.Next time I'm back in Tasmania The Red Feather Inn will most Definitely be my choices to stay, just loved it Lisa.

Access to property wasn't clear...

Such a cute place! Stunning garden and beautifully decorated. Comfortable and cosy stay. Bathtub was so nice also.

The fireplace heater was really noisy, and it’s a bit further from things than what we expected.

Red Feather Inn is just gorgeous in every way. The decor and comfort of the garden suite was just delightful. No detail was missed. Breakfast was delicious. The gardens at the Inn are just beautiful. A shame we didn't stay longer.

Historical accommodation with a French feel. Amazing opportunity to have the chance to stay at a convict built site. Staff were amazing and made sure our stay in the Garden Suite was perfect. Dinner in the restaurant was also exceptional.

The location was ok, it was only about 15 minutes from Launceston. We had our breakfast delivered to our room and it was pretty basic. Plain bread (not lovely, thick sour-dough or anything interesting!) some yoghurt, a bit of milk, some orange juice and some berries. Not an array of fruits to choose from.

The main fireplace in the living room wasn't working which was really disappointing. The couch in the living room was a sofa bed and was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on in my life. It sagged terribly and the actual bed-frame dug into us. It was awful. The building is 182 years old, I get that, but the sound between the rooms was not cushioned at all. The dining room was next to our living room and I could hear, word for word, the conversations of the people in the dining room. I could also hear their cutlery scraping along their plates which was horrible! It seemed a bit over-priced for what it was.

Breakfast was lovely. Check in and check out was easy. Bonus late check out was good. Cottage was lovely and warm and the beds were comfy.

We had no water when we woke up! I know it wasn't your fault as it was minus temperatures. Fortunately we had the late check out as the water didn't come on again until 10:30 so I had a quick shower and flushed the toilet and put the dishwasher on. No staff had come around to check we had drinking water or anything though. We did feel quite alone as I had no way to contact any staff on site. The check in was quick, but a lot of details were missed such as check out time and wifi password, offer to book for dinner etc. I had to chase down someone later. I got the impression a lot of this information was in a book that was missing from the cottage?? There was certainly no information book available anyway.

The history of the place, the themed rooms. Stayed in the Library Suite, which had a seperate seating area. Bed was comfy, bathroom was amazing. Loved the old sash window in the kitchen area. The complimentary breakfast supplied was excellent (although no butter was left for our toast)

The internet was awful if you were travelling for work and needed it. We only used it for social networking, on asking about the internet we were told the walls to the Inn are so thick you can’t get a good signal.
