Modern, clean and warm and cozy

This is a lovely spot to stay - very friendly and able to accommodate my need for twin beds as I was travelling with my adult son. We were put in one of the accessible units - my work colleagues use wheelchairs so I pay attention to accessibility now, and this room was spot on.We could easily walk into town for a meal - get tot he pub early on Friday night for the meat raffle :)

Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The host was accommodating of our request to stay an extra night.

a hotplate in room coyuld be nice calthough the lodge kitchen was big but a bit hard in morning if dont want to go over carpark to it in your jimjams

No electric blankets on any beds.Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms weren't serviced.Location is lovely and locals are friendly.

A nice sized and clean unit

We had prepaid for our stay but got charged a double payment, it took until the final morning of our stay to be sorted.It would have been nice if there had been an apology and prompt refund. The person training the new owners was highly professional and personable, she made up for thier lapse.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hawkdun Lodge. Very clean and comfortable facilities. Would recommend it as a place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing they didn't service our room didn't give us clean towels we had to go ask for them wouldn't let us use the spa pool said it was out of order but the staff used it at night

Lovely place!

There was an issue with booking.com and a change of ownership, which resulted in our money not going through to the current owners but to the past owners. So we had to repay. Still trying to get our first payment back from booking.com.

Convenient location, large room, good shower and comfortable beds.

Noise from the State Highway, outside lights on all night, unusual smell in room and spa pool not available.

Really friendly new owners. Lots of home touches and it was immaculate. A quick walk to the restaurant and pub.

The bed is a bit tired and soft. Needs replacing.

Superb extra free facilities with a large chill out room with books, tv, couches etc and a large kit hen to cook dinner in. Plus continental breakfast provided in a help yourself manner in the chill out space which is miles better than to your room in a small ration. Very generous hosts.

All was excellent.

Spacious, clean, and tucked away in a quiet little town. We stayed here to curl at the nearby curling facility in Naseby. We did not have our bikes with us, but this would be an ideal location if you love rail trail biking. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great one night stay in Ranfurly at the Hawkdun Lodge. Lots of good parking, comfy bed and all the amenities made this a perfect spot for this road tripper.

Great location for town

Sad the spa was not working. Missed that.Microwave dishes would have been handy for the room.

Room was large, comfy bed, two nice chairs for relaxing as well as a table and 2 chairs. Access to a lovely well appointed lounge and full kitchen was appreciated.

The property changed have in the week between booking and or stay. Between the previous owner, Booking.com and the new owner, there was a mix up with our room. But the host went above and beyond to sort it out. Great service.
