The unit was beside a stream! Lovely and restful.
sign about smelly cooking
This accommodation was the best place that I stayed at during my trip to the South Island of NZ. I booked two nights in a cabin and couldn’t be happier. The entire facility was clean and in excellent condition, everything was better than I would have expected at this price point. There was a nice corner cafe that offered take away and down the road was a restaurant with excellent food. The Kingston Flyer steam train is an option if you’re into this sort of thing and the location next to the lake is perfect. I would happily stay again and believe that this place represents the best value for the dollar in the area, certainly better than the overpriced and overhyped options in Queenstown.
There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place.
The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable. Good place to take a rest after a long trip. The area is also clean, tidy and peaceful.
Nothing because we just want to take a rest.
The Communal kitchen was well equipped and clean. Love the fireplace too.
None. Everything was fine
Great location at the end of the lake, loved the bbq/kitchen area, visited the Kingston Flyer Cafe based on the recommendation and loved it.
Nothing to dislike
The staff is very friendly and helpful with warm welcome . The facilities were excellent and that amazing nestled view is fantastic
Nothing . Will return happily
Upside - modern new cabin with good lighting, spacious bathroom and small but functional kitchen. Downside is cabin was right next to busy road so noisy
Friendly well kept park in a lovely area.
I only stayed one night
Fantastic venue, everything was within a 1-2 minute walk with our 4 and a half year old moko. At check in, the host gave us a map and marked things that would be of interest to us.Would definitely come back
The room was spacious, very comfortable bed and kitchenette which met all our needs - so we could cook our own meals.
The guy at the front desk was amazing, can't remember his name but he told us where to go for dinner and it was great. Nice stop.
No ice in the fridge.
The room was like new and very nice.
The entrance drive was very tight because of stairs and wheelchair ramp
Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Very quiet even though on main road. Easy check in. No friction at alll.
Loved the quaint cabin. Location was great. Very clean and everything felt new and updated, yet woodsy and outdoors right there.
Location off main highway. Room outdated. Ok for 1 night.
Everything, staff were exceptional friendly and very helpful. Clean and comfortable
