ASURE Central Gold Motel Cromwell

I've stayed here many times previously and that is because it has always been a great place to stay - clean, simple but well-appointed, comfortable beds and easy walking distance to all the amenities of Cromwell. We were in a two bedroom unit on this occasion and it was excellent.

We had no complaints at all.

Really nicely presented unit that could accomodate our family of 5. Super comfy beds and well equipped unit.

Very clean, friendly staff, comfy beds, location very central, very good service.

Very minor and its okay just only chopping board was missing and forgot to change our tea towels.

Excellent location to the Mall and numerous eateries. Off street parking, dog permitted on request. Units were clean and warm, with very good water pressure and hot water in the shower. Bikes can be stored in the owner’s garage. Rebecca the new owner is super friendly and accommodating.

Bed was too soft for my preference. It would be good to have a cook top in each unit. Bath towels are getting a bit thin and could do with replacing in the near future.

Great stay, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Cromwell was the perfect location to centralise ourselves for sightseeing self drive day trips.

Excellent lighting for reading - living area and bedroom. Bathroom floor texture ideal for those with mobility issues. Distance from road meant no road noise.

Small surface area beside bathroom basin. Not much room to put things at waist height.

Very accommodating. Allowed us to park our 50cube truck alongside the rooms for added security, rather than on the roadside. Thank you.

Large area very clean comfortable beds

Price was a little high

Lovely family unit, decent sized bedrooms with plenty of space to set up a portacot. Lots of bench space for sorting babies food/bottles

The owner was so friendly, nothing was a problem, the location was so good. 5 minutes drive from the swimming spot at the lake and like 350m walk from New World .

There is nothing to complain about really. The owner was knowledgeable about what was on in the area and able to give advice and good chat.

Friendly accommodating host. Spacious unit with comfortable beds and good bathroom and kitchen. Very handy to mall with eating options and 5-7 minutes to supermarket.

Unit tended to overheat in afternoons and evenings.

Small criticism - shower head too low - not suitable for anyone over 183cm tall.

Motel was spotless had everything you could ever want in it. Comfy beds and walking distance to Restaurants and shops.

Central location. The hotel is new and modern, the room was spacious with an external area to sit in. Everything was very clean and comfortable- bathroom was spotless and shower pressure was fantastic.

Had a very comfortable stay here. The location was perfect. Quite and private. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it.

The host was helpful and friendly. When she heard we were driving around the South Island, she gave us some tips on which sites to visit and even looked them up for us. The room was clean and I appreciated the variety of coffee choices.

Personally the bed was too soft for us.

Room was small but very well laid out so there was no problem. Good assistance provided to overcome initial problem with wifi. Accommodation can be recommended
