Pros +
- Peaceful place with amazing food and big pool.Thank you for a great time!
- A very good choice and laid out well so that there was space for everyone to take what they wanted.
- Tremendous facilities in a very comfortable resort-like complex. The food was remarkably varied and good. The pools are the best I have ever seen. We had the luxury of a double apartment 'suite' which provided lots of room. Happily, the quality of the accommodation was excellent.
Cons -
- Some items had run out by the time I came to breakfast, which was not that late, e.g. honeycomb and the dark breads. Occasionally I left items of food on my table while I went to get a drink or more bread and the staff cleared it away thinking I had finished with it, e.g. honeycomb! The waiting staff were very efficient but in these instances, too efficient!
- The main issue is that the resort is quite isolated. If you want to get around you need a car. There is effectively no sea bathing within walking distance.
- Please, please don’t call the call at 6PM “yoga”.It’s not a bad class, but it has absolutely nothing to do with yoga (I guess the teacher were never at any yoga class). Just call it stretching, or something - it confuses people, espetially those who try this as their first “yoga” class.

It's a beautiful place and location.
- Only one of the five restaurants was open.- The food was mediocre to bad.- Pools was not heated.- Not enough staff to keep the place clean.- Lack of robes, towels, toiletries, etc.
Pool and location
Fairly "old style" flats, which are not so much sound proof, and with mattresses that are not so comfy. Food is sub-optimal. It feels like a big canteen. That was disappointing.
Very nice and spacious room. Very nice staff. Very nice and well kept outdoor areas.
The food court was too crowded, we had too wait in long lines to get inside. On the last day, we didn't manage to get breakfast because it was too crowded in the main food court. The evening program was a bit limited.
Great Pools, good entertainment, good food
The biggest problem I had was the location although once it was so far from anywhere of note on the island. Yo yo had to drive up a mountainess road before getting on the lp1 to go site seeing. I hate the key system so it cuts the electric ehrn you haven't got your card in so you can't recharge your spare batteries or other devices unless your there. I wasn't all inclusive but some to of the people that were, were getting their moneys worth and getting too drunk. Most of the restaurant staff were excellent but one on the evening was a bit rude.
- The room and the bed were massive. Plenty of space to walk around.- Stunning views at sunsets.- Massive choice at breakfasts.- Great water pressure in the shower.
- The hotel was far away from everything. - The building and facilities were very tired. Areas of missing tiles and black mould in the pool, uneven and ungrouted floor tiles, shower door nor closing properly, black mould/grime in the shower area, etc.- The staff wasn't very friendly apart from one girl at the breakfast who didn't speak any English but was trying and was very nice and one guy at the 'bar' in the pool area. The parking police at reception was very hostile before we even checked in- The complex is massive and we really struggled finding our way from the parking to the reception when we arrived at night. Appalling signage.- Bin outside the building wasn't emptied once - the rubbish we threw away on the first day was still there when we were leaving four days later.
Fantastic swimming pools. The whole site is beautifully landscaped. We loved watching the sun set over the sea with palm trees silhouetted, whilst drinking cocktails. The food was very good but we were there in October half term & it was less than half full so the themed restaurants were closed.
It’s not the best place to stay if you want to explore the island as to get anywhere you have to go 15 minutes up a mountain with tight switch backs. There’s not much around it apart from banana plantations. It does however get the sun when the rest of the island has cloud!
The buffet, the fitness rooms and a lot of pools.
Snacks were always the same, and the schedules were a bit tight.
The hotel was actually not that bad. However the cooperation with booking.com is just miserable, see "what didn't you like".
The reception did not directly support me in my request to write to booking.comPrice Match was not honored by booking.comBooking.com does not read my messages and only sends standardized messages. After 9 days I still did not receive an answer to my response to their 3rd initial standardized message!I hope the hotel feels motivated to talk with booking.com about this review.
Very nice gym and pool.Very good choice of food in the buffet.
Room was quite small.
Great hotel as always, it was one of many visits.
I do have a chance the compare and honestly the service went really down lately. Hotel would need to be refurbished after years. And please change the sun beds. They are so worn and dirty. Getting 4 stars in the past was well deserved but refurbishement would help.
I am not sure where to begin. I had booked this place for a weekend getaway, but unfortunately, I experienced a lot of disappointments. Firstly, they did not respond to my emails, which was frustrating. If you are a person of color, I strongly advise you to avoid this place because I faced racism and discrimination from both staff and guests. Moreover, I was overcharged, and when I asked to speak to the manager, I was lied to. The management needs to look into this matter as it does not fulfill the standards of a 4-star place. My experience here was terrible, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Everything
I loved the location. The resort itself is lovely and the views out over the sea are beautiful. The rocky coastline and the fierce waves are dramatic. The room we had was very comfortable, it was spacious and well equipped and when we opened our balcony doors we could hear the roar of the ocean. The gym was great and it was brilliant to have that included as well. The pool was nice, and the pools look lovely, although as we went in Jan, we only swam in the heated pool. This seemed to be the preference of most of the guests, which meant that during our stay, the majority of the pools were virtually empty with the heated pool being quite busy. However, that said, I imagine it is probably very energy expensive to heat the other pools, and I'm sure this isn't the case in other months, so it's not a huge deal.As for the food and drink. We went all inclusive, it was our first time trying the world of all inclusive so I don't have a great frame of reference. It was a pretty amazing and slightly shocking experience, just the infinite consumption of it all, but I enjoy gorging myself so generally it was great. It was all buffets. There was certainly no shortage of food and while none of it was exceptional most of it was good which is no mean feat considering the quantity and the choice provided.
The food was an enormous buffet with many, many, options. However, some of the food (especially the vegetables) felt pretty overcooked (which I guess might be hard to avoid with a buffet style dinner). There wasn't always a great amount of choice for vegetarians (the salad bar was excellent, there were always enough vegetables on offer, but there were almost no meat alternatives). The wine on tap in the main restaurant tasted a bit watered down and the coffee machines (which dispensed most of the coffee on the resort) made coffee that tasted very sweet (I think it must be the long life milk they use).
Great location, microclimate. Well-tended gardens and landscape. Most guests do 'all-in' but we opted for B&B and happy for that as quality of buffet and atmosphere of the only restaurant open left a lot to be desired. Thankfully several good restaurants in the vicinity.
Food, pools, rooms, romantic atmosphere. The ocean is fabulous (and a bit terrifying too). Good for kids.
Annoying pieces of paper that we had to sign each dinner. We didn't want to order anything and yet had to always carry them around. Ridiculous policies such as signing some random yellow paper only in front of reception.
Nice complex with a lot of swimming pools. The place is really well maintained, there are a lot of rooms and bloques. Depends on what your preferences.
There could be a really warm pools though. There is only one but not super warm
Excellent place, super food, clean pools, ...
