Hotel des Congres

this hotel is not located near the city center of Lyon. That was not my priority, but it may be for you. The breakfast is nice. The room is more than adequate. They seem to do small conferences at this hotel and it seems well suited for that.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was close to the tram station Le Tonkin.

Quiet neighborhood, 15 minute walk to métro. Breakfast was good, bed was comfy.

The out of order minifridge that had a chemical smell emitting from it and made glugging noises constantly. Just take it out if it doesn’t work! The entry door had to be slammed to close.

Nice large room, enormous comfortable bed on the softer side. Kettle, tea and coffee, and a safe in the room.Very clean hotel. No weird smells. The toilet in the room is separate from the shower, practical. The toilet room is a little on the small side. Nice big shower. Breakfast is good value and has a good selection. On the pavillion below is a boulangerie and a Casino supermarket. Would stay again.

The neighborhood is not safe. Car break-ins are common if you have parked on the street and we learned that the hard way.

The staff are very friendly and forthcoming. The room was clean and spacious, everything worked as expected, absolutely no complaints. Decent breakfast. Location is good if you arrive at Part Dieu station, there's a direct bus.

Rooms are nice, spacious and quite modern. The air conditioning works very well.

Showers need some refurbishment and the neighborhood is a bit strange, although close to a beautiful park

The staff were nice, the room was comfortable and the hotel overall was good. For the purpose of the stay (conference) the location was great and close to the conference location and right next to the amazing park of Tete D'or.

The one and only thing is really did not like is the air condition in the room. During the visit it was very hot but unfortunately the AC could not do its job to make the room feel cool enough.

The rooms are spacious and clean.

The staff is kind but the communication in English is not very easy. The breakfast didn't meet my expectations- low quality, no variety.

It was a great stay. The room is quite big. The bed was very comfy. They have a very good underground parking. Although it’s free to park at the street. But neighborhood is pretty packed. It would be hard to find a space especially late. We spend 3 days in Lyon. The location is pretty convenient if you have a car. Public transport is also not very far. Breakfast was good. Hotel has a gym that has 5-6 cardio machines and 1 bench. That does the job.

Hotel needs some refurbishment especially in the common places and open areas.

A good room, a good breakfast, a good location. All necessary things which you need for busyness trip or vacations.

I was a little surprised that drinking water was provided "by default" only on the first day. But this did not affect my high general estimation.

Nothing glaring really. The breakfast was nice, but at 16 EUR it was also a bit expensive for what it was. Especially considering that there were much cheaper options nearby.

A very large comfortable room, with good air conditioning, great shower and comfortable bed. The location was great for me for work but tourists would probably prefer a different location.

It was a bit of a walk to get to the closest tram stop which made a difference during a heatwave, but not so difficult to get to on foot.

Nothing. I found the heat in Lyon itself hard, so the hotel helped me cope.
