- The location was convenient for an overnight stay on the way to the Alps.
Cons -
- Be aware: the staff at the reception asked me very persuasively to give them the number and expiration date of my credit card to reserve funds in case of damage to property. That is obviously a fraud, the staff first said that they can only block this amount if I give them my credit card's details. I insisted that it is not safe and I would not do this. After several minutes they finally made the transaction through the terminal.
- The food offering was poor- microwave meals in a fridge by reception. Car park signage was not great from the main road.
- I was a bit surprised that I had to pay for parking.

Good value for money but...
There were some drop stains on the toilet seatI found an old blood stain on my bed sheet as well as a hair
Fantastic value, clean, quiet, and friendly staff. No frills, but exactly what any budget-conscious traveler is looking for. The rooms weren't huge, but by no means cramped.
The Ibis was as we expected - a simply furnished room with bathroom, good for an overnight stay near where we needed to be the next day. The beds were comfortable. Given its location near a busy road it was surprisingly quiet with the window closed. There was air-conditioning. The breakfast was good.
The breakfast offer is good and fresh - but the dining room at the hotel is not a nice space to spend any time in.
Convenient location, accommodated our bikes in a secure location inside the hotel as they were too big to take to our room.Staff were helpful and nice.
The room was warm, the air conditioner didn’t really feel like it worked. Thankfully we could open the window but the security latch was broken which was helpful for us controlling the temperature but worrying because we were on the 5th floor. Not the properties fault but there is a lot of construction work in the area at the time of our stay and likely to be for a while.
It was close to a bus stop and the location of a conference. Cheapest in the area. A very basic room: two single beds, a shower and toilet, and TV. A simple rack to hang a few clothes on. But sufficient for 3 nights.
The hotel was kept at a temperature that was a bit warm. It was October and the central heating had started even though it was a warm day. At night I had to leave the window open to be comfortable. The A/C didn't seem to have cold air...maybe since it was Fall.
Staff and cleanliness. The bed was ok. The shower was a good size for us.
There may be a problem with the ventilation as odors from WC were persistent in the room.
Great Location to access the INSA buildings in Villeurbanne, good quality breakfast, quiet room that was well cleaned daily.Staff was accommodating and helpful.
There was a lot of construction in the area during the visit, not a problem inside the hotel however. The garage door was also broken allowing non guests to park inside, making it always crowded or even full early in the evening. Not a lot of storage in the room.
Clean and excellent staff at reception
The beds mattresses are very soft and plastic covered
I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this time I noticed the changes in the room, which became more comfortable. Separating the bathroom was an excellent decision—the room became more comfortable, tidy, and spacious. The idea of the vending machine for drinks is excellent, especially in the evening. I also really liked the hotel’s location; I enjoyed walking with my children.
It would be better if the breakfast quantity could be increased, even if the price goes up a little, because sometimes when guests come late, there is nothing left to eat. Also, more attention should be given to the cleanliness of the bed covers; they are usually very clean, but sometimes there is hair on them.
It was very clean.
Extremely sparse rooms. Very small. I'll give up space for cleanliness though.
It was modern, clean and great value for money. We were travelling in a hot car for 3 hours so complimentary water in reception was greatly appreciated.
Kids were given bags with some pencils and chalk
There was some dirt on the sheets and what I hate most is the black hair on the walls and some pillows. Parking was overloaded. If you arrive in the evening there will be no spot to park. No garbage bins in the garage. If you have a room with a bunk bed, it’s your duty to make this upper bed which is not easy to do

Very good welcome, competent personnel that helped me with some issues about my room. Nice breakfast, pretty modern.
Weak soundproofing of the room. I have worry that everyone in the corridor hear my business calls.
nice staff and good price
rooms were real small and could barely move around with 3 people in them.
Good parking.Normal beds.
Coffee can be better!
Pretty decent room. I was traveling alone and it was good for me for two nights. There is a bus stop next to the property.
Breakfast could be slightly better. Pain au chololat were a little burnt.
