nice location.

Even though some time has passed since my stay, I still clearly remember what happened that morning. It was around 10:30, and there was no one at the front desk. We rang several times and waited for about 10 minutes, but nobody came. At one point, a staff member walked by, saw us, and still didn’t open the door or acknowledge us.When we finally managed to get inside, the person at the desk didn’t greet us at all. She seemed irritated by our presence, without even a simple “excuse me” or “hello.” I still don’t understand what happened or why we were received that way.The lobby also felt quite disorganized and messy.As for the room, it was very dusty — some of the lamps were covered in dust, and the curtains looked dirty as well.

Great location on a lovely moderately busy street; we enjoyed 25–minute walk to the Vieux Lyon, our favorite part of town. Nice facilities, the care is seen throughout. Not a large hotel, parking garage available. Nothing stood in our way of enjoying the splendid city and St.–Antoine market (it's not TOURISTY as some say – good prices!)

The bed was comfotable and the room was clean.

The room was hot.

The hotel was as clean as new, staff and service went out of their way to make the place welcoming. Breakfast was small but rich and varied, with top ingredients and attention to fine details. Highly recommend!

Lobby not enough heated, lack of other facilities (spa, gym).

Breakfast was a rip off and not very good. When I asked for a bowl for cereal was told to use a cup.

It’s conveniently located next to the metro subway and buses right outside the hotel doors. A decent 20 minute walk from the major train station Gare de Lyon Part Dieu. This was perfect for bouncing around during my travels around and catching Olympic Games. Definitely a no frills kinda place but still nice enough to make one feel comfortable.

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. I got exactly my money’s worth for a classic double room.

Room was quite warm and air conditioning a bit noisy. Could have opened the windows however we overlooked the tramlines and it would have been noisy

Noise as they undergo renovation A little too much group business traveler focused. Didn’t seem to accommodate needs of solo travelers for business. Not very impressive and found overpriced considered the most recent property I stayed in located close to gare perranche. While I need location nearer Gare part-Dieu. I’d likely not stay at this hotel again.

Great breakfast, lovely receptionist on check-in who worked hard to get us a nice dinner reservation. Nice bar, comfortable rooms.

We had a bottle of wine in the bar afterwards. The later receptionist was joined by a male and they proceeded to watch a video loudly on an ipad - it is bad enough when other guests do that - but the staff? This is really inconsiderate when guests are trying to enjoy a quiet drink.

The location is superb 100 meters from a metro station. Rooms are large and clean. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is superb. I would definitely stay again in the hotel.

Very accommodating and professional staff, good light in the room, decent breakfast facilities, super well-located for public transport.

Not their fault - major renovation going on for reception area so entrance was cramped

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The area was quiet but was close to good transport links. The reception staff were very helpful.

There was a lack of toiletries in the bathroom- no shampoo or conditioner. No shower cap or even proper soap. Room was small but adequate. No downstairs area to sit as hotel being renovated. Breakfast was fine but hot drinks were luke warm and no decent coffee/tea. Needed more fresh fruit and variety of cereal.

the breakfast was excellent with selection of fruit, juice, hams, cheese and croissants. The wifi was the best wifi I have had in an hotel ever. Staff very friendly and helpful!

if anything, I would give the option to keep the towels more than a day as they were always changed regardless my clear signs I wanted to keep then

Cost of breakfast. At 19Euros we didn't have breakfast!There appeared to be no signs for the hotel at street level from the direction we approached, only 100ft up. We found the car park by chance as there are no signs on the approach to the hotel.

The room is according to Mercure standards and was very well cleaned. The location is nice, just in front of Metro station with easy access to city center.

The garage is terrible to park. You need luck to find a good spot. It would be nice to include the name of the products for the breakfast. It would make the life of guests with limitations (pregnants, allergics) easier.Staff with limited english knowledge.
