Laguna Nivaria Hotel & Spa

Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Staff is friendly. Although the building is old, facilities meet expectations for a 4 star hotel. Water massage tub is a plus.

The hotel is situated in a nice square, a few minutes from the city center. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely nice.

The breakfast was good, but it could have been better (the juice was of poor quality). The gym was very basic, it could have a few more things.

Breakfast was very average, over cooked bacon and eggs, very little cereal, pastries dry. Dinner again very average with little choice on half board and not allowed a la carte choices

There was no elevator

Lovely character hotel walking distance to bus station and trams close to historic centre and shopping, with larger than average rooms

1) I stayed in the annex building and found the front door left open ajar, yet reception in the main building not appearing to be aware of this security risk ?2) amazing hotel, but none of the juice dispensers were refilled during breakfast. The boiled egg was cold too. However a huge array of pastries and bread.

The room is huge and quiet, the bed is the best. Breakfast is very good

1) it is a hotel and spa, but the spa is not included. Most of hotel & Spa. They offer the sauna, jacuzzi and stream room. So please change your hotel name. 2) I was searching for hotel Santa Cruz, but the search bring me to this hotel. So ?

I was very impressed by the impeccable decor of the lobbies and the hotel hallways. Taxi service was very conveniently located nearby.

Very tiny elevators

Convenient for the city. We have stayed here before and came back again. Hotel car park. Our room was ready earlier, and we were allowed to check in earlier. Brilliant. We should have been here the night before, but one of our family was ill, so I phoned the hotel to explain and they were happy to move our booking without charge. Fantastic service. Lovely food and drinks. We really couldn’t ask for more.

As this was a studio with a small kitchen it was surprising to see almost no things to use in the kitchen

I really wished the hotel has notify us (as most do) ahead of time of where to park and that the check in is not at the hotel. After illegally parking we had to find the check in area - which was right behind the hotel - a simple email ahead of time to let you know to turn around and walk through the cafe to the reception would have really helped. Both times we returned to the hotel there were people looking around and we pointed them to where to check in. The hotel is in a congested area and hard to park - even though there is a parking area across from the hotel it is often full with a long line of cars waiting to park. Later we found out the hotel does have a parking area - a very stressful check in...

It's such a nice and noble place. Friendly receptionists. Quality of the rooms and breakfast. And the location in the centre of a historical city.

Spacious room with a small kitchenette, though no dishes provided. Very clean, with a large, comfortable bed. Excellent location, private parking, and dog-friendly. We also loved the restaurant—our dinner was absolutely amazing! Huge compliments to the chef for such a delicious experience.

We tried several times through Booking.com and direct chat to tell that we had 2 p. less in our group than the original booking. Finally the full amount was taken from our Mastercard.

4 days in La Laguna

Staff were not very friendly (apart from the nice lady who cleaned our room) - all seemed stressed. Room and Breakfast were ok.

The location on the edge of the old town and the character of the building. The food in the a la carte restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very few English language tv channels. No hotel parking although there was a huge public parking area nearby for a reasonable 7.50 euros per day.

A truly lovely historic hotel in the centre of town, very handy for exploring. Very spacious rooms with many facilities. The parking offered by the hotel was very useful. Breakfast was varied and very well presented.
