    Pros +

    • It is the anti- Ruby’s and that’s a good thing. Simple, quiet, friendly with an excellent restaurant.
    • The proximity to Bryce Canyon
    • Huge room for the price, restaurant at hotel, super convenient & 5 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park

    Cons -

    • I booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub over a week before I arrived. Hours after I hit the ?no refund? deadline I received an email saying the pool and hot tub were not available. Nothing was listed on their website about the pool and hot tub
    • No fitness center
    • Hotel staff was very young and inexperienced. Unfortunately, typical of small, rural communities.

Very close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Excellent retaurtant, easy to find, planty of parking, great setting in the pines.

Hotel staff was very young and inexperienced. Unfortunately, typical of small, rural communities.

    Location to Bryce.

It needed a serious upgrade to the rooms. The interior looked like it was from the '70s.

I felt like I was back in 1970. It¿s an old hotel, with old mattresses and old amenities. No breakfast during the week, which isn¿t surprising, as there were maybe 2 other families at the hotel.

Clean and convenient. It was close to Bryce Canyon.

Restaurant couldn't hire staff so wasn't open for breakfast but other Restaurants were open nearby.

    9EriPosted on: 4-12-2022

Clean room and comfortable bed not too far from the park.

The dresser barn door rattled when you walked by it and the fridge/freezer was pretty noisy.

I found out after we checked in that I knew the owner's from when I lived in Henryville Utah. So this made our vacation so nice to see her. The room was excellent and the restaurant in walking distance great food.

Not at all. We will be staying here again in July.

This was not your normal cookie cutter hotel room. The hotel had a rustic feeling. Lovely wood beams in the rooms. Appreciated the larger fridge and microwave.

Stayed two nights and liked it so much that we returned on our way back through. Very close to the entrance of Bryce national Park. Just a few miles away, and 1/4 of the price of the closer hotels. great location, quiet, good restaurant. Excellent Value.

The restaurant next door was ok.

Worst hotel I have stayed in my life. The woman at the front desk had a rude attitude. Room was old with the furnishings falling apart. Bulb burned out in light, glass covering light cracked, table veneers coming off. Smelled funny.

    8StevenPosted on: 8-22-2018

Right next door to the Bryce Canyon Pines restaurant where food was delicious. Since we were staying at the motel after we put our name on the list to be seated we were able to go to our room and they called us when our time came.

The hotel is old however it does have a new section that is listed on the internet but we were not able to stay in the new section. I was generally disappointed

    the location

the sheets smelled sort of strange.... clean but a bit too perfumed.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-30-2017

Very homey feeling with beautiful flowers in planters everywhere. Very comfortable beds in clean room with all modern conveniences including flat screen tv, wifi and a great restaurant on the premises.

Rooms are located in several different buildings with some distance between buildings but this was only a minor inconvenience.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-8-2016

Everything worked and the room was clean.

Scary electrical setup for bed lamps with cords coming out of metal enclosures in a location that could easily produce fraying of the wires. Shower head was chest high. The staff was not exceptional in any way, but they were ok.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-16-2016

    Location is good.

Staff is not nice, even for a standard motel. feels like since you have paid then you just get what you have. No wifi. Not recommended if you have any other options.

    8ThomasPosted on: 5-21-2016

Location was fine. Restaurant on site. very quiet.

Could use an update, but realize locations around national parks have this problem unless you want to pay a small fortune for a room.

    7AustinPosted on: 1-2-2016

Convenient to national park; easy parking; clean; friendly staff; GREAT restaurant; very comfortable bed; made reservation the night before very easily

No hot water in VERY cold winter night; Wifi did not work (very important because of poor cell service)
