A private furnished patio and a full kitchen comes with every individually decorated and named cottages. Most rooms include a view of the water, and the entire property is full of lush, tropical gardens to create a rare, "Old Florida" vibe. Fishing equipment, bicycles, kayaks and BBQ grills are provided for guests to enjoy/ explore the area, and a free trolley is within walking distance that takes you throughout the island and all the way to Downtown Sarasota. There are three restaurants within walking distance. Shopping and dining options are 4 miles away at Siesta Key Beach and Village. The property is 9 miles from Central Sarasota and 14 miles from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

- There were Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, kayaks, fishing poles, washer and dryer all available free of charge Full kitchen and an outdoor gas grill available to use. The beach is 2 minutes away
- Loved the low-key location and bungalow-style room. We felt very comfortable.
Cons -
- N/A. The shower is pretty small but the cottage was awesome for the price!
- Pool was small and too cold, but somewhat expected since we were there in October.
