Quality Inn & Suites Cameron Park Shingle Springs

The room was clean and the property well located near freeway. Evening check in clerk was very nice. We paid extra for pet in crate. Happy to have a small fridge.

Evening desk clerk was very nice. Morning desk clerk was not there when we checked out. Doors locked. No available breakfast. Our coffee maker in the room did not work.

Hotel mngt and staff were completely taken over by a criminal organization attempting to target my daughter and harrsss us. Mngr was VERY hostile to my concerns abt security and the fact that members of a professional group were entering our room constantly from a side door and through the unit door. I do not give Keyes out nor am I careless w them. Also damages were done - furniture was scarred and markings to curtains and linens that were NOT made by us despite upon entry I reported ( nicely) to mngr that room quality was poor - curtains is tears, stains and scrapes in furniture, writing on pillow case. 15 yo “manager” initially said that that room was slated for re-model and would note the issues. When I reported deep concerns abt security, I was treated w disdain and hostility. I left the room in better shape than when we entered and staff examined it and then refused to return my deposit. It was not safe to stay in the room nor to leave with our stuff in the room. The weather had been very bad w heavy fog and I was reluctant to drive until going back down into the valley was safe. I don’t have a vehicle equipped for snow so did not want to drive further up the mountains to Tahoe. Also to note nefarious actions by this white cartel, our rental car was repeatedly driven at night and a tire punctured so that we had a serious blowout on the freeway when we left. These people took over AAA roadside service and we were only picked up from the side of the road after 1.5 hours by a terrible and deviant old man in a dilapidated truck who drove us the longest way possible to the Sacto airport Enterprise car rental. Bad, bad all over and very frightening. Please don’t let others stay here.

The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the location being only a short drive from Placerville.

The pool and hot tub were not working. Had they been working, I would have been much more satisfied with my stay. The complimentary continental breakfast was disappointing. I ended up having breakfast at Denny's both mornings I was there.
