    Pros +

    • Easy access to the Ski Slopes and restaurants. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
    • Location was excellent. Easy elevator to garage.
    • It's a beautiful are. I mean, a ski resort, can't beat that. Had a little balcony that was awesome.

    Cons -

    • Could use some updating soon. There was a broken chair in the dining area.
    • There was no side table on one side of the bed. Small annoyance, nothing big. Also, we checked in after hours. There was no parking spot for our room. We were VERY confused.
    • There was plenty I didn¿t like: 1. Incorrect details on room- the 2 BD is NOT in the building that has ski-in/ski-out access, nor does it include the hot tub 2. Broken internet, deferred maintenance in unit, resort fee provides no benefits

The size is the unit was great, plenty of room for my family of 6 to spread out.

    Not much

The pictures did not match the room. We planned the trip around having a kitchen and there was not one. There was no restaurants within a 40 minute drive. There was no AC and the hot tub was closed for cleaning. Almost no staff onsite.

It nice and quiet staying here in the summer time.

Dining options are limited but that is expected because of the time of the year.

I loved the real fireplace, the stainless steel kitchenette. They supply you with all the tools/Utensils and pots you need. Coffee and tea are Starbucks and Tazo. I wish they offered hot coco too. Wished TV had better channels. But location was great.

    Location. Close to ski lifts

Was supposed to have hotel style with 2 beds. Instead we got a studio with pulldown/pullout beds. Very disappointed , especially with the premium price I paid

The 1 BR condo was excellent, roomy with beautiful finishes. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had 2 bathrooms. Gated underground parking was a plus. Staff was great. Checking in/out was easy and quick. Deli at General Store had excellent food.

Great resort staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Coffee machine and coffee provided. Mini fridge. Garage parking. Shuttle to slopes provided. Great if you want to ski, shower and sleep.

Small room, tiny bathroom. Bad pillows. Lobby was dark and dismal. Huge 2 sided fireplace never lit. Massive ceiling fixtures turned off. One overhead fixture was on but it had low watt yellowish bulbs (the few that weren't burned out). Pricey.

The one bed room suite had two bathroom. It can basically be turned into two bedrooms.

The sofa bed wast too soft

Location excellent, ski in- ski out.

Parking outside garage. The key to the locker box not given automatically.

The place was great. Plenty of space, clean and conformable.

    Garage is a little tight.

Great view from our room in the Mountain Club

The check in process was awful. It took 45 min to get access to our room, partly because there were no staff. It did not go the way we were told it would, the # for the lock box was incorrect, finally found the correct one in previous emails. We were in room 219 which did not show on the map we received but did show on the map by the desk so 1 of our party went searching for it and took the door code, was able to access the code and when we all went the code did not work again. So we made our second call to the after services number and over a period of time finally got the right code and got in. I don't know if this was a hotel room or a private room you rent but it was subpar. The woodwork a furniture was banged with no repairs attempted the caulk in the bathtub was dirty and very old, again an easy fix and the room was definitely stuck in the 80s. If the Mountain Club was supposed to be some kind of an upgrade it really missed the.mark. I will give kudos to the after hours service people. They did absolutely did everything possible to help with patience and great customer service.

Our room was next door to a very loud and rowdy group of people. They stayed up late and woke up very early. The door between the two rooms seemed to be hollow.

Our stay yesterday was fantastic - I love Kirkwood and it’s a jem of a location. Also the front desk and Staff are amazing. One issue we had was the heat last night just stopped working sometime around 9pm. It’s off season and there was not much that could be done, but it made for a chilly night and morning. Otherwise I can’t wait to go back!

Just the issue with the heat… if you are looking for a facility manager type, I’d be interested ;)

    Incorrect photos of accommodations and...

“Requesting early check-in” should not be offered if the property cannot tell you if it’s available until you arrive. I was told multiple times over the phone that I could call days in advance to confirm early check-in. Then that turned into day before, then morning of, then finally to “until I arrived in person.” So instead of leading me on, just don’t offer it at all from the get-go.The room we booked was NOT the same as the photos and the front desk staff said it was a discrepancy they were not responsible for and it’s booking.com’s fault for not keeping photos up to date (we booked a 3-bedroom loft and we got a 2-bedroom with a shared living room instead). Staff was pretty unhelpful to resolve the situation.
