Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel

Staff was wonderful so was location

Beds were not comfortable

Location was not oceanfront. We were given a room a block over on a side street. View was parking lot from front and backyard out back.

Room smelled funky, screen door kept falling off. Furniture falling apart

Location and clean rooms

Had one person working check in at busiest time of day. Waited a long time to check in. Not the most pleasant either.

The location was great, right at the entrance to the beach. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional- . Beach badges and free parking was included which make the stay very easy.

It¿s location to the beach and the size of the rooms were excellent.

Overpriced. Was not given the room I chose and they were unable to rectify or give me comps/refund. AC outdated and didn¿t work properly. Shower/tub didn¿t drain. Holes in walls.

Just steps away from the ocean. Air conditioner worked great. Bed linens were clean and crisp.

No wi-fi in Ocean Breeze unit. Pictures on web are misleading. Toilet was VERY slow flowing. Could only flush in the morning. The floor was filthy. If you had your shoes off, your feet turned black. Shower squirted water everywhere except on you.

Very clean and excellent location. Staff was super friendly.

The only things that were good about this hotel were the view and the front desk staff who didn't give me a hard time when I asked for a refund.

Jetted tub was broken. It did not plug, nor did the jets turn on. The bedding had black marks near the top and the bed skirt was ripped. The walls were dented and scuffed. The carpet was ripped. The balcony door was broken and locked with a wooden board.

The view was great.

The shower squealed when the water was on, the bathroom window waa broken and the bed wasn't comfortable.

Very easy check in and out experience as well as location. Rooms were true to pictures on site.

For the room, we had oceanfront view. The carpet could be changed And the outdoor balcony furniture could be updated.

DS is located conveniently off the causeway and offers plenty of parking. The main entrance is welcoming and well landscaped. Check-in was seamless and the room (ocean front suite) was clean, spacious, and quiet. Excellent private balcony view.

The Wifi signal was too weak to reach the oceanfront building causing us to exceed our wireless data during our stay.

The staff was great and accommodating.

The original room we were given did not match the pictures of the hotel at all and was quite dated.

It was a nice experience and everything went good. Nice people and a great time to go to the shore.

Room not clean and housekeeping never came in three days.

I like the location, and beachfront.

Our room needed remodeling. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable .We went there 15 years ago. It’s the same ,except the floors were new.

Rooms need updating

I like that it was close to the beach, although I didn't have my beach view from my hotel... be careful when booking from this hotel it can be misleading.

Supposedly, there's a noise ordinance starting at 10 o'clock. That didn't true the entire trip. Besides the local activity, which was great the entire time.. the hotel was absolutely miserable. I did not sleep a wink so if you wanna book a hotel where you know you're getting rest, I do not suggest this one. lots of rowdy kids in and out all night, we were on the bottom floor, so it sounded like a herd of elephants from the rooms above and lots of yelling too.This went on all night.

We were unable to check in as we requested an early check in to get ready for a wedding. I had to get changed in a small lobby bathroom, lighting was so poor I chose not to put on makeup. Sand on the floor so I was concerned about my long dress. They said they would text me when our room was ready. I never received a text. We got into our rooms when the wedding was over at 9:00 pm. It's over and done with but would never recommend this place.
