Holiday Inn & Suites Farmington Hills - Detroit NW by IHG

Very disappointed in the breakfast. Minimal choices, no clean silverware, dining area had sticky floor every morning for 4 days in front of the same booth.

The location

Yes, we had dirty laundry and in vacuumed carpet in our first room. We had a dirty pillowcase on the bed, wads of hair and I vacuumed carpet in our second room.

Staff was very helpful, nice, & accommodating to the best of their ability considering the issues

1st room was blood or something stained on sheets. Reception switched me..the next room had no working lights or TVs. The third room was ok. May have even been the fourth! For the area I DEFINITELY expected better. It gave 2star motel clean.

Wify down for the 2 days I was there, promised it would be up but never was. Could not do my work in the evenings. Lost money

This hotel went above my expectations! It was very clean and spacious, with wonderful staff I will be booking again

Carpeting was worn, didn't match all of the renovations that were done. Pool was murky.

Staff was very pleasant and the hotel was clean organized and modern.

It would be nice if they posted that they had a $150 hold on your credit card which is more than what the room cost. The desk workers seem pretty disassociated but that?s probably due to a sub livable wage. Other than that it?s a nice new hotel.

the room was so cold. we were told it operates on movement and the room would stay cold unless someone was in moving around. 64 degrees in winter in detroit was too cold to even shower

The front desk lady at check in was rude. Breakfast was at 7am and the hot food was cold.

The staff was spot on,, a bit slower with check in, but she may have been new, but beautiful manners. The front desk in the AM was very good,, and professional.

There were a couple of kids running the halls at night,, maybe excited for the pool,, and starting school later? Was surprised to see kids. but was quiet once the parents were there.

Hair everywhere! Not my own. Bathroom, desk areaa, and top of night stand and in the linen of bed!

we informed the hotel we were 3 people. there were only towels for two people in the room. also, the soap/body wash dispensers were EMPTY....not fun to shower with no soap
