The room definitely was showing a little wear. Like glued together towel bar, and wallpaper that had definitely seen better days.

Security measures

The pillows are awful. I woke up with a migraine, stiff neck, and pulled back muscle. It was like they stuffed a bunch of rags inside of a pillowcase.

Not what I expect from a Marriott property, lower quality materials and decor.

Great location

Nice hotel but for the $$$ I expected more. Loved the pull-out sofa bed. But TV was lacking channels. Also no mini bar or room service for in-room dining. These aren't "must haves," but for the $$$, I expected it. Definitely paying for location.

good location, better security than most

price was too high after adding taxes and pay parking, There was no free breakfast or even coffee other than in room.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! Super clean, close to everything and short trip from the airport. Staff was wonderful and very helpful with local suggestions. We will be back soon!

Great proximity to UNC Chapel Hill! Very clean and luxurious! Parking on premises is wonderful! And most importantly, the staff was Super friendly and helpful!

The parking lot was a little tight. Had to back up and re position to turn corners several times but it wasn't horrible.

We were charged $18 to park under the hotel in their parking area. I think parking should be complimentary.

The location of the hotel was ideal. There is bar right across the street. There are many eateries within walking distance.

The bathroom was not clean. Throughout the shower strands of hair were found. The shower had not been clean. I asked to have someone come and clean the bathroom and Noone came.

The hotel is beautiful. It is clear it is well maintained and taken care of. The room was very nice. The cleaning staff is doing a great job. No complaints about the room or cleanliness.

I was woken up at 2am on a Friday morning to screaming. I was on the third floor, room 306. My room was facing the street. 10-20 teenage guys had been drinking all night. They were yelling so loud I called downstairs and they knew but could do nothing.

Location

Parking was horrendous. They do not have enough spaces. Most of the spaces are smaller than average compact spaces. The SUVs had to use 2 spaces to park. When we got there, there were no normal spaces left. It took 10 minutes to wiggle into a spot.

Very modern and clean. The front desk ladies were very nice and helpful.

The underground parking lot was scary.
