Hampton Inn Kansas City/Overland Park

Room safe on floor of closet making it necessary to lie on the floor prone to use. Needless to say, I didn't use the safe. Breakfast area during 6-10:00 am got messy in food area, some tables not cleaned up when by guests limiting seats for others

Clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool was attractive and clean. Nice breakfast and breakfast area.

After driving all day, a hot shower and a comfortable bed are priceless

The provided breakfast was poor at best. The fitness center was small and poorly equipped.

Clean, quiet and somewhat modern facility. Offers breakfast, although I would rate in 5 out of 10.

The two biggest problems: 1) the refrigerator froze all of the food we brought ruining it; 2) the climate control unit is very loud [why hotels 3 and lower star hotels insist on having these types of climate control units it beyond me].

Great breakfast menu!! Great customer and cleaning services. I always love to stay at a Hampton Inn, because I love the bed and pillows. Thanks for your hospitality.

Location was great, not right in the highway. Beautiful quiet grounds. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed. And a/c was not throttled! Kitchen crew was super friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff was uniformed and somewhat not helpful.

Coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was well done.

Towels are too small

Normally it?s the staff and cleanliness.

The towels had diahhrea on them but were rolled up as clean towels. The towels also smelled moldy. Notified front desk but was told there was no manger so nothing they could do. We gave them the soiled towel.

We did not get the room type we paid for. Hotel was overbooked. A stranger entered our room at 11 pm due to them being given room keys to our room and our keys were disabled. The manger and GM were supposed to get a partial refund, no word yet back.

Very clean, well insulated against sound, friendly staff, good breakfast and hot water, tea and coffee always on hand.

Cleanliness, soft beds and pillows, courteous staff

I like the price of this hotel. We were in town for activities and had no intention of spending lots of time in our room. We needed a clean room to sleep and shower with a quick breakfast. This hotel was perfect for that.

Beds were better than most hotels.

NO HOTTUB..pictures show there is one. However, they remodeled thy said a long time ago.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Noisy air conditioner. Parking lot noise at midnight. Called front desk due to loud people in parking lot, problem was resolved.

It is close to where we were going.

They gave us a handicapped room and showing was not great with a seat in the shower. Plus I booked a room with a king bed and sofa sleeper. I didn't get that. See below.

Add variety to the breakfast menu

The breakfast was ok. Potatoes were not cooked. Probably just thawed. The eating space was sufficient but although everyone threw away there own plates, etc., no one wiped the tables in between the guest, except the guest themselves.

We arrived NOT choosing a handicapped room. The room was extremely tiny. Bathroom was large with handicapped shower which was fine but no heat in the Bathroom. Very Disappointed. The fitness center had three pieces of equipment.

All aspects of our stay were very pleasant. I especially remember having a unique request, needle and thread, needed to repair an outfit I wanted to wear. I asked the receptionist, she gave me a small kit. I was able to enjoy the evening activities.
