Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jackson - Flowood By IHG

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, including front desk, breakfast man, and housekeepers was above and beyond what I have experienced at many hotels with more stars.

There were obvious plumbing, waterproofing, and drainage issues that need to be addressed, particularly pertaining to bathtub and toilet. Toilet flushing in adjacent rooms produced loud banging noise. There was water seepage and damage from bathtub.

The new room decor is poor, the continental breakfast is a joke, I don’t no why they bother, the only thing I would recommend is the coffee.

Excellent location for foods, fuel, activities. Great breakfast and Mr Price, the cafe associate, kept all the foods stocked, hot/cold and very clean. He always does a very nice job!

I reported the TV did not turn on with remote and both showed power. Issue not resolved my entire stay nor was I informed as to what was the issue. Shampoo dispenser in shower was broken, again I reported, and issue was not resolved during my stay.

Excellent breakfast.

I booked 2 nights, 2 separate reservations. I informed the desk when I checked in. She said, no problem, you can keep the same room. Next day when we came back to the hotel, keys didn?t work so we went to the front desk. The older attendant was very rude.

Clean room, quiet, good location

Friendly staff is always a plus. My wife did comment that she met an impressively friendly and kind staff member; my experience was that the staff perfromed their duties at the desk but weren't overly friendly. We will stay there again, I imagine.

Overall, I was shock that the hotel were very neat and clean. It did not have a smell and/or bad odor which was a surprise.

The only draw back was the breakfast. The eggs were not fully cooked. Overall, the rest of the breakfast was good.

Very well kept and clean. Great location for access to highways, restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful and of course a hot breakfast bar wins!

Great location, only a 10 minute drive to airport, but far enough away not hear air traffic. Also located next to several restaurants and shopping. Hotel has been recently/nicely updated and staff was friendly.

The only negative is the blinds are white and see through. My room was next to bright parking lot lights, so it wasn't dark enough in room to comfortably sleep. Next time will take a sleep mask to help because I like it to be completely dark.

Construction was happening in the dining area, so there was no hot breakfast. However, there was a small continental breakfast area that was good.

Hotel under renovation. No breakfast, no pool, no gym. Room has a window air conditioner and sounds so loud and vibrates every 5 min. Will book different one next time

Location is excellent

Upon arrival that¿s when I learned during check in that they were in the middle of remodeling. I didn¿t think anything because I know how there can be wear and tear I just didn¿t expect this stay to be something out of a laundry basket .

Good location in a safe area. Price was reasonable.

The hotel is showing some signs of wear. I have stayed here 3 times, I think. My first time was the month it opened, I believe. The mattress needs to be turned or turned over, at least.

I had to check out because the was nasty. We checked 11/12 at 2:00am & was waken by construction workers yelling at each other, a ladder outside our window, banging on the roof, roof shingles being thrown off the roof and breakfast to go was 2 granola bar

The hotel does not look anything like the pictures on their website.

The customer service provided at check in was the best. The breakfast selection was also great.

The hotel has small roaches that were on the sink. The toilet had a sticky substance on the seat.The sheets were dingy. The hotel was noisier than expected.

Great experience overall, my daughter and I took a girls trip and this hotel was perfect! The beds and pillows were so comfortable! A few snack wrappers were under the bed from the last person but everything else was perfect!

Zero complaints, we had the best time!

The location of this hotel is great!

Room could¿ve been cleaner as I found previous guest hair in bathroom. Also the drain to tub moved very slowly.
