Comfort Inn Hoffman Estates - Schaumburg

Clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine. Decent location but far from the city.

Very far away from the city. Advertised an airport shuttle, but wasn’t free or fully available. Only by request. I was even told that I was better off taking a taxi or an uber. Had I known this before booking I would have booked at a different hotel.

Nothing, the staff is rude . I got kicked out because I was not ready to pay cash for $150 security deposit. I gave them my credit card and they rejected it. Something is shady!

The staff

Near many places. For example the gas station, coffee place, food, etc.

Breakfast was decent. Just eggs sausage & waffles for hot Breakfast. Maybe a little bit more of a selection wouldn't hurt.

The breakfast was good but ends at 9:00 am.

We could not get an extra sheet. The air conditioner was noisy at night and our room smelled bad. They also charged an additional fee and a temporary charge of $150.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was not too busy, and there weren't too many noisy people there. I had a microwave, fridge, coffee/tea maker, access to wi-fi, a nice TV, good water pressure, and the water seemed clean and tasted ok.

There was a urine odor in the room, and a tobacco odor, the a/c unit was ridiculously noisy, and the carpet was so dirty that my white socks showed it from only walking around in it for a short while.

Was informed "kids" were 12 and under, had to pay a fee for a 13 year old. We had 2 rooms, both had a foul smell.

No, it is a great place to stay for 1 or a few nights!

Staff is great! Bigger fridge, bigger tv, sheets are soft. Lights have plugins for accessories. It's better than most 3 star hotels around the area

Required a $100 deposit over and above the room charge, which will not be refunded for six days after check out. Ask for a receipt they said it would be electronically emailed. That never happened.

Excessive and constant loud noise from room above, hotel owner refused to give me a different room and threatened to kick me out for complaining.

Bed was comfortable

Carpets in room and hallways were filthy. No info in the room or anywhere on where the ice machine, pop machine or when breakfast started. The breakfast was horrible, cold eggs, tasteless sausage, only had apple juice (no other juices) no sweet roll/donut

I really liked the staff and their support. Breakfast was really good and served hot. Rooms were clean and house keeping happens almost daily without requesting them. Also, staff was really friendly and helpful in going extra mile.

Location, but my stay was pleasant and happy.

Service was horrible. I was charged twice even though I paid in advance. I had to pay a extra 40 for my teenagers and breakfast was horrible. Food wasn't done.

The man who checked me in was wonderful and it was clean.

It was so loud I was woken up several times by loud music, snoring.

Extremely traumatic experience.

Attendant accused us of smoking then walked into the room uninvited while I was undressed.

Breakfast, music in lobby, cleaning offered everyday, friendly staff especially the younger staff and cleaning crew.
