Kaskades Hotel South Beach

Spacious, luxurious rooms. Really close to beach and shopping area.

Exterior and entrance did not look like the advertised hotel. Pool under repair, so had to use hotel across the street (nice, but inconvenient)

Very nice stuff, good location, big rooms.

- swimming pool is very small , it’s parley enough for 2 persons, should be called bathtub now swimming pool - there was construction around the hotel and we could not sleep well cuz of that

Wonderful small hotel. Calm and quiet in a city that can be very noisy and wild. Huge room with high-end amenities - soaking tub, steamshower, bar, kitchenette. Very gracious style.The staff were terrific!!! Very helpful and welcoming. Made you feel safe and well cared for.

The hotel does not have a pool on site but you can use the pool at the sister hotel across the street which was great.

The position is fabulous, just few steps from ocean drive, the beach, Lincoln street and espanola way! The room was spacious and comfortable.

During the night is a bit noisy especially for the proximity to the street and the air conditioning.

Hotel is definitely NOT 4 star.Assigned incorrect room on check-in, completely different to what was booked — brought this up to reception & staff didn’t do much to rectify this. Room smelt of damp and just didn’t feel generally clean. Some drawers in room wouldn’t open at all, others didn’t have handles screwed on properly. Rooms had a 4 digit keypad system. Numerous occasions where it didn’t work, or couldn’t get the door to lock when leaving.Not informed before booking that the pool is in another hotel across the road. Staff not very friendly — did not even welcome you when you passed reception. Overall definitely not a four star hotel, they offer 2 star service and facilities. More like you have to look after yourself rather than be looked after.Would not stay here again. Have visited Miami before and there is plenty of better hotels in the area.
