The Econo Lodge North is located near popular attractions like Edison Community College and the University of South Florida. This hotel is 15 miles from popular Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. The Southwest Florida International Airport is only 25 miles away. Located near the bank of the Caloosahatchee River, visitors will enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and shelling. Additional area attractions, like the Edison and Ford Winter Estates and Shell Factory and Nature Park, are minutes away. A wide variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges are located nearby. Guests of this hotel are invited to enjoy many superior amenities, including free continental breakfast, free local calls, free coffee in the lobby and outdoor pool. Business travelers will appreciate free high-speed Internet access in all rooms and access to a fax machine. All rooms include microwaves and refrigerators. Cons -
- Loud. Door was not sealed you could see daylight. Smelled like smoke in non smoking room. Stains on shower. Sink cracked.
- The mattresses were not good. The bathroom and main area smelled like an ashtray. I can live with a non updated room, but not when it is dirty and smells so bad.
- Everything, it stunk, there was tile flooring, the refrigerator leaked, the bed was uncomfortable and the water pressure was terrible. Never again!
