Palmetto Hotel Business San Miguel

Staff were helpful and accommodating. My initial room showed that the sheets hadn't been changed, I checked in very late and was feeling very unhappy about the situation. The receptionist was kind and understanding. She organized a room change for me.

The room I was given was facing the main road and you could hear every noise from the road and the airplanes. The bed was hard the pillows were very soft. It was a very uncomfortable night, I only slept (a short sleep) because I was so tired and woke up very sore.There should be some form of noise reduction installed. It was such a nice room but very uncomfortable.

Modern and good furniture! Breakfast was good, and the views from the last floor are nice.

The location seemed a bit far from touristic attractions, needing taxi to move around. The isolation might be better, for example regarding the windows, since there are airplanes flying close by.

Great for an overnight; rooms very small. Loved the rooftop breakfast area with views. Great breakfast.

The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. There are restaurants and cafés nearby. The receptionist was extremely polite and professional, and they kindly offered me an early check-in at no extra cost when they saw I was exhausted — thank you for such outstanding hospitality.

The beds were too small and unconfortable even though we upgraded the room.

Hotel staff absent when I attempted to check in at expected time on new years eve. ( Maybe understandable due to partying but hotel door was locked and no one answered the phone. Had to find another place to stay. Cant evaluate hotel otherwise. Probably wont happen again!

Close to the airport, quick access, good breakfast

The last time I booked here the room only had a fan that stopped working in the middle of the night and we couldn’t sleep comfortably

The hotel room windows and doors are really far from sound proof so our night sleep was not the best.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The lobby is modern looking.

The room was very basic with a tiny bed for two. The neighbourhood is extremely noisy. You can hear everything outside and in the hallway, including and planes flying over. We did not get any sleep.

The facilities seem old and not maintained.

Not good maintenance, bed was fluffy, door from the bathroom was dirty.

First of all: the hotel was extremely noisy. We booked the suite with jacuzzi. This was at the front of the hotel, and it felt like the room was located next to a racing circuit.Later on we moved to another room (since the jacuzzi we booked could not be used, also very weird). This smaller room was also noisy, but not as bad as the suite at the front side. Furthermore, there was a group of men being very loud in the restaurant during diner and breakfast. They acted like they owned the place and the hotel staff just ignored it. Lastly the wifi was terrible. We had to check in to our flight, but we were simply not able to because of the bad wifi.Good things about the hotel were the breakfast and the fact it was clean.

very very loud from the street. we read in previous reviews that it‘s noisy from the street however we thought it‘s just a normal street but instead the hotel is close to a multi line road. It sounded like a highway.

We took this hotel to stay close to Lima airport without paying the prohibitive costs of the hotels in site. We were 20 minutes taxi away (45 soles with official green taxis and the driver picked us up the next morning to drive back. Staff was super helpful. We stayed in hotel & didn't go out. Bed was good a'd breakfast was fine

Not good location if you want to go out

For the price and what we needed it for (a few hours sleep between flights) we can not complain. Room was clean, very friendly staff and breakfast was excellent.

Very noisy!!. Lots of noise from the street/ night club near by. Thankfully we had ear plugs but would have been almost impossible to sleep otherwise

The hotel was mostly clean. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was included. It was somewhat close to the airport. The toilet did not smell of sewage ( after 2 weeks in Peru this is a major point as even the Hilton smelt).

The hotel insisted on payment in local currency by card despite being quoted in USD and then converted from USD to local currency using an extremely high rate that I never saw anywhere on my 2 week trip. I was eventually able to pay USD cash after much debate. Mind you, this was the only hotel on my trip that did that.Location is not great. Few nearby decent places to eat and all shops seemed to be behind bars. This was our last night before leaving Peru and we thought we would stay at a more convenient location but I would say it is worth it to go further in if you are a tourist.

The price for what you get at this location is easily the best value I have ever had on a hotel in my life.

The ONLY negative part is that I checked in to the hotel late at night and checked out early the next morning. I wish I checked in earlier so I could have spent more time enjoying it. The only bad thing about this hotel is that you might enjoy the hotel so much you won’t want to see the beautiful city outside

Location and service.

The room did not look like the photos, it was very small and the mattress was old. Though it was clean, the decoration looked old. Breakfast was quite basic.

the hotel was under renovation. The lobby looked great but our room’s bathroom had an odd smell and our room’s carpet looked old and dirty.
