Plaza Mayor Lima

Location is good. Close to many attractions

We requested for 2 beds but the room has only single bed. The room was not ready when we arrived. The room was on 3rd floor so need to carry luggage. There is no elevator.

Great location right next to Plaza Mayor. Safe to walk around alone at night. Warm and fresh breakfast was delivered to the room at right time. Friendly and helpful owner made my stay comfortable.

WiFi did not work in the morning.

Location good as close to main Plaza.Held our bags for free whilst we did 5 day trek.

Noisy nightclub next door.Shower either hot or cold.WiFi variable.

The property has very central location, this was great. During our stay there was a power shortage and there was no power to charge any devices, issues with hot water which of course not the issue from the hotel and we had a discount because of that.

The hotel was clean the front desk people they are very professional the room clean and very spacious Everything close by restaurant, grocery market, One to lima plaza mayor I will recommend

good location but communication issue.i ahve asked to checkin early as i dont stay the whole day, it was confirmed but then when i arrive, she acted like thats was not discussed!

Central location just around the corner of Plaza Mayor

Bad WiFi, rooms with no windows or a small window opening to a ventilation shaft. Found a waterbottle of a previous guest next to the bed. Stains in towel and sheet. I misread that they didn't serve breakfast.

Excellent and safe location. Room and bathroom were very clean.

Some nighttime noise from the Plaza Mayor filtered into the room.

The owner helped us with everything, he organised a transport to the airport. We could check in early, around 9 am which was very helpful because we had more time to see the city.

Great location, most attractive historical places are within a few minutes walking. Manager is working hard to meet the needs of our request. Before booking, I sent a message to the manager ask if possible to have a airport pickup at midnight. After confirmed, I booked 3 days. We arrived around 1am. Though we did not have the city view room first night as we booked, we have it on the rest of the 2 days. The manager and his wife keep the property very clean. We are very happy with staying here.

We stay from Friday to Sunday, the next door music entertainment is lively until midnight. I would be perfect had the windows can block the sound more for an early sleep.

Location.

It was overpriced, the floor was very dirty, not fresh sheets, and lots of mold on the ceiling in the room and inside the bathroom. We were in the room facing the street. There was a lot of loud music followed by lots loud street noise pretty much all night. We were exhausted after a long trip and we had ear plugs that helped a little. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for this price.

The staff was extremely helpful and always there to assist us at any time of the day/night. The location is just amazing - just a few meters from Plaza Mayor.

There was not elevator but the staff helped a lot with our luggage.

The staff were very friendly and Cesar was extremely helpful organising a taxi to the airport and providing general advice and help. The location is fantastic, right by the main square and there's shops and cafe's nearby. I arrived late at night from Europe and the shop next door selling water and snacks was open until late which was a blessing.

It was pretty cold at night, make sure you have warm night clothes!

The Hotel Plaza Mayor in Lima is very close to the Plaza de Armas. Very friendly and helpful staff, I arrived at 6am but was allowed to check in with no additional cost. I had a spacious room, good facilities (shower) and good Wi-Fi.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location

The first room was internal and without a window, which makes me feel claustrophobic. However we moved rooms and liked the second room.

The only thing I did not love was that there were no restaurants close to the hotel. But there was a convenience store that sells empanadas, pastries, and sandwiches. And there were a lot of restaurants within a few blocks.

There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff is great, even though they don't speak much English, they are always willing to help 110%. The room was simple yet very clean and comfortable. The location is also good, literally across from the Plaza De Armas and cathedral..

The owner/ staff was waiting for us to check in a 2 am, and so helpful, I could hardly believe it, guided us towards the money exchange and extremely kind, thank you
