    • Great brekky free. Hot shower. Lobby structure made by Eiffel.
    • An old mansion with lots of character-Eiffel designed part of it

    Cons -

    • They need to renovate their signs. There was signs in the lobby, the bar, the bathrooms all saying hike tour, salsa lesson, pisco sour and cooking classes, yoga, bbq etc. but when you ask they have nothing. So take down the signs!!!!
    • The signs need to be updated or taken down. They say they have walking tours at a certain time on sign but the tours are at a different time, they don’t have bike tours like the sign says, they don’t have pisco making like sign says, so just change them or take them down
    • a little noisy. a little run down. but it's a backpackers place so it was fine!

The staff was great, they were patient and incredibly helpful. The location is fabulous, a 20 min walk in all directions you can see so much

Great location, street food and restaurant prices are far cheaper than Miraflores. Nice big park nearby and it’s lovely to walk around the area. I’d stay here and go do day trips to Miraflores. Felt safe and secure in the hostel too.

Everything, the building, the staff, cleaninness! Ahhh the cats❤️

There is nothing I didn't like

The building is beautiful. I loved the roof bar and restaurant, enjoyed the breakfast and loved the friendly three cats.

Could improve the bedding. Especially pillows.

This hostel was great. The building was an old mansion with high ceilings and a great rooftop. The free activities provided were also great and the breakfast.

The bar downstairs was super loud. The hostel is not sound proof at all. Must bring ear plugs.

I stayed just one night in this hostel before starting my trip in Peru', This is a Nice and classic hostel for backpackers. I really appreciated how clean was the shared bathroom

    7MatteoPosted on: 8-28-2025

Nice and basic hostel in Lima, with a good and complete breakfast.

The roof has space to make food and hang out. This location is very close to many central areas. The building does have plenty of history is really nice to learn about it and has lots of Peru culture displayed.

The room was average for a hostel it is an old building but nothing to be excited for. They had a free walking tour and unfortunately the guide canceled. The towels we received in our room seemed like old hand-me down towels. The bathroom showers curtains were all over the place and hot water ran out quickly. Breakfast was average and then in the afternoon turns into lunch time and the food was below average we did not enjoy the food.

A gorgeous rooftop and place to cook your own food. Also great opportunities for cheap activities like free walking tours daily and cooking classes for s/5-10. The guests and staff were all so friendly and helpful. There’s also tons of cats to pet and board games to play!

Our room was beside the stairs and we could hear everyone walking on them in the morning. The hostel is very open so we could hear the music on the rooftop late at night too so definitely bring ear plugs.

The room was small, and was next to a machine room so I heard this noises, but the room itself was clean and comfy, the breakfast was simple and small, like half of an egg, four fruit cubes, bread and coffee or tea, but for the price is fine. The staff are helpful and friendly, specially Beca. The location is fine, close to downtown, and if you want to fo to Miraflores you can take a bus just in front of the hostel.

Everything was according to what appears on booking, maybe some pictures are a little retouched.

The room was quite spacious with large lockers to store our things. A large suitcase might not fight, but I had plenty of space for my backpack and tote bag. I struggled with the showers at first, but the staff helped me figure out the hot water. After that I didn't have any issues. The location is pretty good, but the things I wanted to do were a bit far away.

The hostel is located on a large road, so there was a lot of noise from cars and buses passing. It's not horrible with the windows closed, but the other guests in my room kept opening them.

the staff were helpful and friendly! they gave a lot of info including the place to get the sim card. wifi is also good and there lockers to store yung luggage when you need them.

no place to hang clothes, only a small chair.

Arrived at 2 am and reception was available and easy to get to our room. Beds were very comfortable and included free breakfast. Staff was very friendly

A bit run down but it's what you pay for! No complaints :)

There are museums and other cultural things you can see, all within walking distance. The grocery store is nearby, where you can buy everything from food to home decor to running shoes. It literally has everything! There's also a mall within walking distance.Due to the road construction directly across the street, the traffic is narrowed to just two lanes in that direction. If you are a runner or a biker, this is perfect for your workout. They have a house dog and 3 house cats that are all very friendly and social. There is a nice rooftop workout area, as well.

The location is right in the city center, and if you're staying only for one or maybe two nights, then it should be fine. But something to keep in mind is street noise. I am not one to complain because I can sleep through anything, but the street noise with the engines and CONSTANT horn honking all night and the traffic police whistles all make proper rest nearly impossible.

location was extremely perfect. breakfast was good & enough. reception staff was very helpful.

wifi issue sometime, dark room environment & you will find cats on your bed anytime.
