- Staff and owner  were amazing!!! Will do anything for you. What an eclectic boutique hotel. More of a museum than anything. Gave good restaurant suggestions and all were within walking distance. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!
- Beautifully renovated building. The space is full of art and antiques giving it a unique feel, like something european. The service was exceptional, staff took care to our every need, from excellent restaurant recommendations to putting our bags in taxi
- This did not feel like a hotel. It felt like staying at your favorite uncle's historical house. Not only were the walls covered floor to ceiling with antiques and very unique art transporting you to the early 1900s, the absolute best part was the level of detail the staff paid to ensure the guests are totally fulfilled. Outside of the basics, Giancarlo added tremendous value to the remaining days of our trip in Peru by setting us up with his good friend and driver and aligned certain activities we thoroughly enjoyed that would likely not be found in a tourist guide. I feel like I earned a family member by staying here. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you are looking for a standard polisbed hotel, this may not be your first pick, however, if you are looking for a place filled with soul, good laughs, and a personal touch, not to mention everything you'd want is walking distance from the hotel, this is the place to stay. When I return to Peru, I look forward to staying at Uncle Giancarlo's place again!
Cons -
- The hotel is located in a vibrant area, so there is some street noise. We had a great night sleep with ear plugs, but if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room facing the back of the building.
- somethings need a little maintenance aesthetically, however, I’m unsure if that’s a downside as it certainly adds to the charm.a
- There is a lot of antique stuff everywhere,Which makes it hard to clean Skipped breakfast

Good location, close to everything in Barranco, a lot of history attached to the property
There is a lot of antique stuff everywhere,Which makes it hard to clean Skipped breakfast
Good shower, very big bed. Lots of old curiosities in and around the house.Owner gave us very good tips on where to eat and drink around Barranco.
A bit dusty due to all the curiosities. We found out later that we paid 10 euros more than the booking.com price, don't know if it was intentional or not.
This is a large old colonial house with odds and ends and paintings on every wall space. It is like stepping into another era. The location is great, just a few blocks from the lively plaza, and down a long walkway with steps here and there, and on the upper part, lined with restaurants and galleries and cafes. At the bottom you cross over the highway on a bridge, down some steps. and you are on the pebbled beach of the Pacific Ocean. I loved it all. The staff is very accommodating and helpful.
The breakfast does not match the ambience of the house. There is fresh-squeezed juice which was good despite being a little pulpy, the bread not so good and the coffee often too cold. But the eggs are good and the staff over-willing to please.xt
Only the location
Very dirty, bad smell, stains on carpets, stains on sheets… disgusting … no connection between photos and reality
Large rooms with clean beds. Good location for exploring this part of Lima.
Needs some serious tidying up and cleaning.
Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely antique deco, amazing location near by everything! The staff at the hotel were so nice making me and my mom feel at home.
Beautiful colonial mansion, very unique hotel, friendly staff always willing to help. Fantastic location with bars, restaurants and beach all in walking distance. Make sure to see the sunset on the beach!
Rooms are quite small as it is an old mansion. Probably not for someone who wants to spend their vacation in their hotel room. Perfect if you want somewhere central and like exploring
The whole place is a beautiful and interesting home with artifacts and memories from many years. I ended up extending my stay as I liked it so much. The staff are incredible as is the breakfast.
Amazing quirky property in the best bit of Barranco - fast internet and international TV. Was given a free upgrade to the best room so can’t Complain: owners were lovely
Having to ring to get inside / no key to front door
It was probably a beautiful house before. It could be a nice and good place if it was well maintained, clean and properly managed but none of this is part of the plan of Casa Falleri apparently.
It was extremely dirty from the corridor to the room and bathroom, it was a shame. Staffs are unprofessional and careless.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Not clean at all. Anywhere. Beds so old and sunken that one rolled to the side. Very uncomfortable.
Great accommodation, friendly staff and interesting decorations but probably not for everyone. We find it a unique accommodation which feels like travelling back in time to 1930s. Staff were attentive and let us store our luggage for 2 days before we checked in.
A bit old, need a bit of general tidy up.some decorations a cluttered.
poor breakfast, poor housekeeping, room packed with old furniture leaving no room to walk, no safety box- overall bit dissapointing but staff multilinguist and good.
more cleanliness, better spread of breakfast, unnecessary furniture to be taken out from the rooms, tea-coffee maker with glasses/cups to be in the room etc.
Eclectic decor, great location and an absolutely fantastic staff! Very hospitable and friendly, helped with planning our ongoing travels (and the contacts for taxis and tours were friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and very reasonably priced).
The location was great.
The check in process was scary. Seemed like the staff didn't know what they were doing. The hotel is ancient and is heavily infested with weird energies. I didn't sleep well for I felt watched. The bathroom walls were falling apart. I couldn't open the window to my bedroom because it led into the livingroom of the hotel where I had no privacy. The breakfast was awful as the eggs tasted like cardboard and the juice felt stale. I would not stay here again.
Central barraca
It was filthy, disgusting - furniture had not been cleaned in years, had a urine stench, fellow checking us in said it was quiet - the disco was still running at 3am…
good location
smelt, was dirty and very old-fashioned.
