Miraflores Colon Hotel

The location is perfect.

Breakfast. Not many to choose. No good coffee.

The location was great easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was good as well.

The air conditioning didn’t really work well. Lighting could have been better getting to rooms.

Location perfect. Walking distance to everywhere. The breakfast A1. The people from the hotel extremely nice.

The property is right by Larcomar Shopping Mall, making it very easy to walk through Miraflores. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but our room was very big and comfortable, and the appliances were very good. Water pressure was a high point.

The only down side on our stay is that the room is not very dark in the morning.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com, but in the end they charged me $50 more than the price shown on Booking.On top of that, at 3 a.m., the noise from a neighbor taking a shower was extremely loud and woke us up.Their proposed solution was simply to wait until the neighbor finished showering and then go back to sleep, with no compensation or proper resolution provided.

The hotel is very well located. Located in a residential area, 3 blocks from Larcomar and two blocks from the walkable coast line. About 10 minutes walk to Love Park. On sight restaurant serves delicious meals. Staff very friendly and attentive to your every need. Very pleasant stay.

The location is central to Miraflores and the coast.

There were some dampness issues in closest.

The decor is a bit old. Rooms felt a bit damp when it rained but nothing major. Rooms didn’t provide complementary water bottle or tissue box. However, you could get fill up filtered water for free which was nice.

We had a lovely extra large king bed which was quite comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice with eggs made to order.

The hotel felt clean, very comfortable, and safe. We appreciated that the staff upgraded our room without us asking, and the food exceeded my expectations.

The window in our room didn't close, so it was quite noisy at night and let in some outdoor smells.

The big bed was so comfortable and I loved the soft sheets and fluffy pillows! Perfect after a long haul flight. I loved the spacious room and the desk to get work done. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially since I arrived very late and had to leave for a very early flight. Perfect location, being close to Larcomar and the beach.

I just had a hard time managing the bugs that came in through the windows at times. It got cold easily in the room with the windows open, but it warmed up when closing the windows. I couldn’t close the bathroom windows.
