Location. Old historic property

tired. Dated. Basic and in much need of an update. Could be wonderful if upgraded. The breakfast was basic and all would be fine for a budget traveller. 3 stars seems generous. Booking advertised 2 king beds in one room and one in another. They were all double beds.

Casa Bella was a lovely place to stay during our time in Lima - the area was beautiful, safe and with lots to see and do in. The property itself is great with a lovely garden and we had a huge room with a fridge in! Michael was amazing throughout the stay - he helped us when a taxi driver didn’t have change which was so kind. We’re very grateful to him.

The breakfast could be a bit more plentiful but was still pretty good with fresh cooked eggs

Mickael was very helpful to answer all our questions during our stay. He also was instrumental with arranging a driver to go on a tour in the south. will return for sure.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the service provided by Michael the manager. He greets you like a long lost friend and he looks after you like you’re a part of the family. He certainly goes the extra mile to ensure your stay here as enjoyable as possible. It’s an old house with quaint features but everything you need is there. My room was enormous and the bathroom well equipped if a little dated. It’s located in a very quiet part of the city which is safe to walk in which is a major plus for me. There are plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and Michael of course will recommend where to go. Likewise there is a big supermarket in that same area. Was delighted with my stay here and was quite sad to leave. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend it to other travellers.

There was nothing I disliked as such. Just be aware it’s not a modern building. There’s no lift to the upper floors but Michael and his team will carry heavy bags if you’re not able.

Really lovely staff, Michael went above and beyond. They even gave us a very early check in when we arrived at 6am. Room was lovely and a great location. Also really cosy, beautiful communal spaces. Particularly good value for money.

Really lovely, friendly staff. Receptionist Michael was exceptional. He let me leave my luggage at the hotel after check out so that I could go and explore the city. The staff were contactable before the trip and answered every question I had. The hotel had a lovely garden green area to sit in for work or leisure. The breakfast was wholesome and had a good amount of fruit - I'm vegan.

Accidentally, I discovered a hole in the floor near my bed, covered by rug. Windows could do with some cleaning. And the lock in the door to my room was temperamental - for a solo female traveller it was important for me to know that if I locked the door, it would remain locked. I hope they sorted it out now.

Great location in a safe part of Lima. Set in a pleasant walled garden so it was quiet and peaceful- unusual for Lima. Good sized comfortable room. Miquel the manager went above and beyond

Very beautiful house, spacious rooms and very polite staff. It's also in a good neighbourhood.

The staff was SO KIND!!! He was always there to help and answer any questions, any time of day or night. The rooms are clean, the area is very safe and quiet but also in a central location. Breakfast every day included fresh fruits and was delicious

The room was large and cozy, with comfy beds and pillows. The location is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. I fully recommend this place for visiting Lima.

The staff was excellent and accommodated my abnormal check and and check out hours. I also arrived and the breakfast service was closed, but when they found out I hadn’t eaten they prepared me a fantastic breakfast.

As a pescatarian we had a very tasty eggs for breakfast but there was no greens for breakfast .

Quiet residential area with easy access to main city arteries.Thank you very much for the room upgrade, it made my 22-day stay a pleasant one. Loved waking up to chirping birds.Kudos to the Marvelous, Kind and Helpful staff. All of them made my days much easier.

Facilities are somewhat tired, need upgrades and thorough maintenance. Wish I could have been able to use the bathtub in my room.Would had preferred fresh made juices at breakfast and different kinds of fruits.Mattress and blankets were musty.
