Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Allamanda Beach Resort is located on Grand Anse Beach. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning, a balcony and a Direct TV. Complete with a refrigerator, the dining area also has a coffee machine. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a bath or shower. Extras include a desk, a safety deposit box and ironing facilities. At Allamanda Beach Resort you will find a tennis court and a fitness center. Other facilities offered at the property include meeting facilities, luggage storage and laundry facilities. - The location is perfect. Close to the airport. A taxi cost $20 USD. It also has easy access to public transportation which cost $1USD to St. George's. The back of the property leads directly on to Grand Anse Beach. There are also a variety of food options literally across the street such as food trucks, local food, fast food and fine dining as well as casino, shopping mall, supermarket and recreation ground. Property is quiet and generally well kept.
- Firstly the bed was awesome, really comfortable. And bathroom facilities good. The position right on the beautiful beach was also great and it was easy to get local transport. On the negative side it was really frustrating that there is nothing to keep people on site, it has no restaurant or bar, not even for coffee. There is a pool and loungers but no one around so as a single traveller I was bored and went to the Radisson every day for company. Or to one of the beach front bars. In my need to put some effort in to encouraging people to stay and use the pool.
Cons -
- Property definitely needs an upgrade but offers great value for money based on basic amenities and location. There were a lack of 110 V outlets. Only one was available in entire room so was not possible to charge 2 phones at once. Internet connectivity drops occasionally both WIFI and Data.
