Casa del Mar Cozumel Hotel & Dive Resort with free access to an exclusive beach club

This hotel resort is in a good location and the staff was great. We really enjoyed the open air restaurant under the giant palapa.

They messed up the billing on my credit card. It was corrected.

Staff was friendly. Near cruise port which I needed to board. Only needed to stay one night.

It's an older hotel. Looks like they are doing some renovations.

The grounds were pretty.

I wouldn?t recommend this hotel to anyone! It was old, nasty and it smelled awful. We had to go buy Lysol because it was so bad. The bedding on one of the beds had a terrible stain on it. There was mold in the grout in the bathroom. The food was terrible.

Wonderful diving hotel for great location. Helpful staff super friendly. Great restaurant food. Construction noise was the only downside

Location, location, location. This resort is a 5 km walk or less to anything a person would want to do. Lots of restaurants are in close proximity and it has a walkway over to the dive shop that we use (Cozumel Marine World).

The toilet seat was too small for the toilet making one fall in if you lean to one side, and the shower drain cover was cracked plastic. Easy to fix things that will hopefully get resolved before the next guest.

Staff are amazing

Food became repetitive at the hotel restaurant. The menu hasn¿t changed in 3+ years.

Location. Right across from our dive shop.

The mattress was bigger than the platform and we felt like we were going to fall off.

Great Location with a Bridge to it's own private Beach !

I believe the Maids should be equipped with a mop or swiffer for the tile floor's. The Broom didn't get them completely clean !.

Very clean, courteous staff, safe neighborhood, has a great diving school attached to it, nice waterfront area, pretty good neighborhood with some good restaurants around it, close to downtown but not walkable ($5 cab ride). good restaurant as well

A little outdated but I didn¿t have any issues with that particularly. No elevator .

I woke up walked 2 minutes to pier and went diving every day it was majjical

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the beach club that is included in the stay is incredibly nice and very well priced. The food at the hotel is very competitive from a cost standpoint, so I appreciated not getting gouged by that.

The location is a bit far removed from the main strip. Depending on your fancy that will get old walking or taking a taxi into town every time. The room was fine for the price I thought, no frills, but with the cheap price it was great.

proximity to town, i was on bottom floor so i enjoyed the walk-out.

bathrooms/sink area need improving/updating, ceiling is wierd/creepy, you can see into it between the wood, makes you wonder if someone is watching

The location is between the town and beach clubs. Love ¿¿ it.

Had to climb stairs to get to elevator. not explained in description on property, Wifi very poor!!!It was suppose be100 percent non smoking, there was night security gaurd by front lobby door and guest was smoking there and there was a cigarette butt in the hot tub, also an ash tray next hot tub

Check-in was smooth, the rooms were clean and comfortable...but nothing fancy. The pool and restaurant area are basic. Really, everything about the property is basically good, but not great. The thing that is great is the access to the dive facility across the street and the marina is a close taxi ride away as is downtown. Almost every taxi ride was $10, except for the airport which is $20. The beach club is nothing to brag about. If you are not diving, I would pick a different resort. This is perfect for a dive vacation and a good value for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here MANY times, always so enjoyable. The staff is amazing, Miguel, Jose, Santos, just to name a few. Housekeeping staff are all so sweet & friendly & do such an excellent job!

The beach area across the street could use a little tidying up, but still no issue for us, worked fine.
