Clean room and the building and room appear to have Morrish looking features. The restaurant was booth nice and reasonably priced. The view from the restaurant frames the volcano in the background when the clouds clear but it was not visible for my stay.

Staff was very nice during my late check in and helped with the bags and parking.

HARD TO FIND BUT WORTH IT WHEN FOUND.NO RESTURANT

We are full time travelers that wander on motorcycles. We stayed at this hotel last year and stopped again this year to rest and recover. It is a beautiful hotel where staff are on top of everything. I can't stress how nice this place is. We have stayed at over a 1000 hotels over the last 3-4 years. This is one of our favorites.

The hotel is so nice we never left it for the entire length of the stay.

The location was perfect and the layout with the swimming pool in the middle was lovely. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It is an ideal hotel for those of us with dogs, there is a grassy area where you can take your pets out at night time if needed.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, and attractive hotel, with a restaurant. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

The place is lovely, and we were there during Christmas and they had it so beautifully decorated. They go beyond expectations to offer services. We'll definitely return if we stay in Cordoba

Unfortunately there was a party that night and a little noisy, but we had been warned and it ended when they said it would.

Beautiful, clean, impeccably kept hotel and grounds. Great staff, very accommodating and so polite. The suite was lovely, the food and service was excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like. This is my 2nd stay at Layfer in Córdoba Veracruz and I would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Upon arrival I payed for the 3 days as requested, then due to a family emergency I needed to leave after the second night and asked for a refund which was denied......... really poor customer service of the business

Great staff, lots of attention to detail. Nicest common washroom anywhere we have travelled in Mexico. Food was reasonably priced and tasty. Great service from all staff including manager who took time to chat with us in the restaurant.Front desk staff were very patient with our terrible Spanish. Grounds were absolutely gorgeous.

Regular coffee maker would be nice in room.

Long story... it was an adventure in a negative sense.I arrived at 2.30am (I wrote before to announce my arrival time) and I was given a room where... other people were sleeping: big big huge mistake, a thief feeling (never before this happened to me. But there always a first time for everything). No apologies if not an excuse or explanation by the young fellow that carried my luggage (the receptionist is new, he told me). A total lack of professionalism.During the morning I went to the centre and when I got back the key wasn't working and had to go to the reception again so they can fix it.Early afternoon, roughly 2.45 pm, I decided to go in the swimming pool. Had a first deep and when I got out, after only 5 minutes, without warning or communication the personnel started straight away, with a speedy manoeuvre, to clean it with tubes and nets, so that for more than 1 hour the swimming pool was not available. Basically I could not get back in as was my intention. Ok, what to do. Not at all professional but I couldn't (didn't want) make a drama.Went out for dinner and when I got back I discovered that was a very noisy party in and outside the restaurant in course, just few meters from my room.Because I was exhausted from the night before I crashed, but I woke up at 2am from the noise of the party (because of the proximity of the restaurant to my room, the noisy volume and the echo from the building it was like having the party in my room). Called the reception and ask if it was possible to low the volume. 10 minutes passed and nothing happened. So I checked my phone and I received a message saying that the WiFi was no more available. I went to the reception to ask clarifications and same girl from the night before basically admitted (silently) that she did a mistake also for that giving only 24h availability.

This is a first rate hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are excellent - pleasant garden, reasonable size swimming pool, convenient garage for parking the car. The breakfast was excellent. While I did not eat dinner there what Isaw looked good.

Hotel felt safe, and clean. Nice view of the Pico de Orizaba. Very good breakfast, and nice attentive staff at the restaurant. Easy underground parking. Well kept inside garden.

Reception personal can be more welcoming.

The beds were comforting

The room smelled of mildew. No fridge or microwave. No wash cloths, just 2 towels, 1 hand towel. TV was awful. Janitor cleaning in the evening making scraping noises.

Extremely tasteful, comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with full kitchen and two separate rooms. We loved it! The decor and common areas were beautiful, and the staff was great.

The only small negative is that it's far from the center (not really walking distance).

Location was amazing for my visit. Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly !!!!

Being a non speaking Spanish invividual I wish the directional cards and instructions (place cards) in the room would have been printed in English also ... just a suggestion !!

Music constantly playing and very loud. Front desk calling 2 times daily to inquire if room needs cleaning.

Bad

As per our reservation, we had booked 2 suites with jacuzzi. However, upon check-in, reception staff claimed that this was a "mistake by booking" as we were not entitled to suites but rather to standard rooms. After a long discussion we only received one suite and one standard room and the hotel did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience experienced.
