On the prime beach of Rocky Point, this resort is 10 minutes from the shops and restaurants in downtown Puerto Penasco. It features 2 outdoor pools and a hot tub. Playa Bonita Resort has rooms with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. All bathrooms are furnished with a bathtub and hairdryer. Puesta del Sol, a restaurant and bar, is on the property of this Puerto Penasco resort. A convenient mini-market is also part of the resort's facilities. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. The CET MAR Aquarium is 15 minutes from Playa Bonita Resort. The Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans is 10 minutes from the property.

Pros +
- Empoloyees and the beach access.
- It was kind of in the middle of all the other hotels, buffet breakfast and a few bars on property were nice. Staff / security was A+.
- Pool and the view And all the staff with the exception of the ppl at the *check in counter
Cons -
- Too many damn rules.
- Drains were clogged in shower, doors had big gaps in there and the noise in the hallway was loud. Walls were cement so it blocked all wifi signals. Virtually no internet existed.
- Bait and switch for minors over 11 years old they charged us additional $--/night Needs update and we felt scammed
