The staff and location are superb!

The sargassum is not cleaned from the area around/below the main bar deck, causing a strong unpleasant smell. The main areas and stairs are not swept regularly resulting in dangerously slippery surfaces.

Hotel shows its age and we had no hot water during our 5 day stay. Also we felt the onsite restaurant rushed us for our dinner reservation, which was the last of the evening.

The 2 a la cart restaurants needs improvement in their reservation system and also in the quality of food.

Location is the best, although at the same price you can find real 5 stars properties to the other side of the SAME beach!! This Mia Hotel is a scam!! Nothing like the photos they sell on the websites!!

Dirty, sticky, damaged and cleaning less rooms! A/c and refrigerator leaking water and no hot water line available in the bathrooms of the hotel.

The whole stay I kept saying there are only 3 things I like about this hotel: Location, Location Location. The views all around are unmatched by any other options.

I was very disappointed in the accommodations & restaurant. Furniture is cheap & chipped & broken. The shower/bathroom box is stained with soap scum & mildew. An ill-placed towel rack above the toilet split my head open. Food is disgusting.

We liked everything and hotel staff in particular. When manager is good and caring - hotel is good too (this is our 30 years of travel experience). We liked people at the reception kind and resolving any issues. Food/drinks good.

The location is private and close to downtown. Beaches are nice with comfortable chairs.

Everything - definitely not a 5-star resort. Very old and run-down with a small beach. They make it difficult to eat at anything but the buffet.

The location was awesome! Beautiful sunset view from the balcony. Lots of availability to eat and drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The toilet in our room kept clogging.

The view and beach were breathtaking. The bartenders at the pool bar were fantastic and Sexy Miguel with the entertainment was on point.

Was given the wrong room initially; hotel rooms need to be updated and refreshed. Food was mediocre at best so we ate offsite for some meals.

The location was perfect! The staff was very friendly and always working to meet our needs.

The whole place is a little dated but staff works hard to keep it looking good. Our room safe broke and had to be repaired. The key card stopped working and on the last day the lock broke and had to be replaced. Food in buffet was just ok.

Hotel is super dated. Tiles from pool floating in pool. Birds everywhere. Property in need of major TLC.

Staff and Location, both are great

Building maintenance is far behind (for example: tiles in pool missing, pool water is green in the mornings), drinks for not VIP guests are of low quality, food is ok but far away of the expectations of a 5 star resort. Without the staff we would not come

Amazing staff! Very hard working people and definitely service oriented. Super clean everywhere at this hotel. Hotel employees were so friendly & treated us as guests. Loved it!

We left our door open one night and apparently invited all the mosquitoes in. They ate me up. Bring some organic mosquito spray if you want the ocean breeze at night.
