Great staff, food and service

Very nice resort, great staff and very clean! Food was great too!

Nice and quiet.. I was able to relax and enjoy.. the staff are #1 on my list everybody so friendly and polite always with a smile on their face..

The location is gorgeous and the staff is so amazing! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good (though a little hit or miss depending on the day). We loved our time there!

The long check-in process (we got our room at 3.30pm, and many rooms were not occupied around)The very loud music at the main pools. Very unpleasant. Otherwise, it is the big team in the large catamaran. No offer of small boat rentals that would allow the 500meters crossing.

Food was amazing, service was exceptional, everyone working here was so nice, our room was clean and had an amazing view

There was no outdoor dinner dining option or outdoor beach bar at night which we would have enjoyed.

The concept and layout is very nice.

If looking for fun, this isn’t the place. It’s relaxation and pools are very basic. You’ll spend a lot of time in your room.

What we loved: + Great staff, always with a smile and super welcoming + Very clean and tidy throughout the whole property, you really see the efforts made by the staff + Unforgettable beach, it was like a huge pool, it was cleaned constantly, we truly loved it + We had amazing walks on the beach, early in the morning and during sunset time <3

2 easy things to ameliorate: - Since our arrival on Friday we asked concierge to help us with a simple change of batteries and a dental kit. We had to ask them 5 times for the dental kit, which was given on Sunday night and 7 times for the change of batteries, which was done on Monday morning before our check-out. We understand you need to give priority to your members, but remember that guests who are not might want to become members one day. We felt not very much considered. - People with food intolerances and allergies should be taken into consideration from the very beginning. Especially since they offer a gourmet experience with truly beautiful plates and lovely service in all the restaurants. It is important that once reservations for the restaurants are made (you have to reserve days in advance in order to make sure you have a table!) kitchens are informed straight away and ready with options once guests arrive at the restaurants. This would have made our stay even more amazing! We will be back in the future also with the family because apart for these 2 issues the rest of our stay beautiful... however please dear staff of El Dorado Maroma, do take into consideration our 2 points above :)

I strongly disliked noisy room in the villa number 1, where music was a bit loud outside until 11 PM and people were preparing and consuming the breakfast from early morning in front of window and balcony. After I did complained, my room was changed and upgraded to another building, where I could not only enjoy the silence, but also a nice view. I do appreciate that a lot. Food was amazing, especially in the Peruvian restaurant, where lady named Jazmin made by meals fantastic experience. Thanks a lot! What else? Beach was wide and nice, water clear and place is not crowded.

Check-in check-out process were a bit annoying. Despite of heads up at the check-in, I was not able to get the company invoice I was asking for. Going from one desk to another I almost got late for my plane from Cancun, no one really wanted to help me and I had to escalate the issue a bit.Fitness centre was nice, but opening at 8 AM, which is a bit late for me to start a workout.Overall only food and beach makes this place worth this expense.

The staff were wonderful

Almost everything else. I feel like this hotel had completely false advertising! The "beachfront suite" was not beachfront and was a small room with no bath or screen on the door. Horrible smell. Loud. Air conditioner sounded like a jet. I would not recommend this hotel.

Wonderful experience. The staff was amazing! Food was really good. Great wine list to choose from. Extremely relaxing and everything you could ask for

The food was excellent (far better than I've experienced at comparable all-inclusive), beach was beautiful, and the rooms were small but comfortable.

The dinner options are restaurants that are indoors, and in some cases tables are not spaced to allow for proper distancing. From a COVID standpoint, we were uncomfortable at times. We addressed this with hotel management, and they were accommodating, offering to serve us pre-ordered meals at our rooms. Also, we spent more money to stay in the Mi Hotelito rooms for beach access- but frankly every room is near the beach, and it wasn't worth paying more for it. These rooms were also right off of one of the pools with a bar, and it was noisy at night.
