    Pros +

    • For being the older hotel it was very clean. The price was great a block and a half from fifth Avenue can¿t beat that when you¿re just wanting to hang out on the Avenue. Just remember that this is a old place and it¿s bathrooms are not updated but don¿t
    • Clean, good size rooms with friendly staff. Close to the main strip but far enough away that noise is not an issue. Free parking. Free breakfast, although selection is very limited, but it is free! Overall good value.
    • We love this little motel!! It is a simple motel, but very comfortable. The staff is very awesome, always serving. continental breakfast Hot water air conditioning works great! In-room safe Perfect location, just a couple blocks from the beach

    Cons -

    • Had no TV. But did not bother me. I was just there to sleep not to hang out.
    • There was no hot water.
    • The neighborhood is extremely loud at night. Bands playing until 2:00 AM and loud people on the street . Slight sewer smell in bathroom, maybe supply a rubber cover for the drain in floor. Would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room on arrival.

Location is amazing close to the beach and bus station.

Hidden fee of 82 pesos in cash for environmental cleanup or something like that (you know there’s something shady going on)

    Bad service

My room was *very* smelly, when I asked the receptionist to come to my room (number 17) to check it out, he immediately said it smells good and there is no problem with room.Instead of trying to help, he even suggested I'm sick and that's why it's smelly when clearly the smell in the room was awful. He also didn't suggest any other solution, claimed they are fully booked when they were almost empty. Very bad experience. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

Nice and clean . Good location .

Loud music from a club close by

Nice, big and clean. We stayed only one night so I cant say much. We enjoy it really, eventhough you hear the music coming from thr town/beach. Earplugs did work like a charm.

    Location was good

The shower isn't good and room was not cleaned. The stuff at the reception didn't know English and was not nice at all

I stayed for a few days and would give it top marks for the lovely people working there. Also the room was clean and very comfy. I’d have appreciated being able to boil water, there is a microwave but no way of using it for water without cups! I’m afraid though I couldn’t return, the noise levels made sleeping pretty much impossible for me (they kindly offer earplugs - but that didn't work for me) It’s not the hotel’s fault - they’re surrounded by bars that play music at full blast till late at night. It’s a shame - and if that’s not something that would bother you then I’d highly recommend. Great location and lovely hammock to lie in outside your room. But if noise bothers you - then that would be an issue.

The noise - made sleeping very hard.

The location was perfect, not too far, not too close. A nearby dance club was audible but not annoying. The owner is fantastic and so are his staff (and his cat). It is not a luxury stay but punches above its' weight class in cleanliness, location, friendly staff and superior management. We will likely return here next year. The cat likes to invite himself into your room, so be prepared to have company or else be vigilant about opening your door if you don't consort with felines. He is very friendly and very vocal.

Nothing really comes to mind. The place is great.

Close to beach and shopping. Pleasant staff. Very clean. Nice decor with comfortable bed and pillows. Fan, AC, safe, mini fridge, bottle of water. Personal hammock on small patio. Pretty treed courtyard with palapa lounge. Earplugs (essential) provided.

The wooden frame on the large front window is damaged so the lock no longer functions. The window frame can be pulled open when standing on the ground floor patio. An alternate window lock should be installed. The room is adjacent to the staffed check in area so there is some security but also noise from guests. Extremely loud pounding music from adjacent clubs. Sleep only possible with earplugs in and fan and AC on.

I had a good stay here. The room was nice but for me it was the really warm and friendly welcome I got from Enrique. He was super kind and helpful, all the while I was trying my Spanish and him trying his English the best we could. Secondly it is ideally placed if you’re getting around the yucatan peninsula by ADO. It’s super close!!

Be prepared to hear the bass of electronic music. I think it’s unavoidable if you’re that close to the main entertainment area. I’m still undecided about the 50pesos to leave your bag. It’s not huge amount but also there was no real security for my things. When I came back it was just sitting there in the corridor.

Friendly and helpful stuff, central location with parking, we could leave our stuff under surveillance after check out.

There was hair on the sink and the shower barely functioning, loud at night but with ear plugs works.

great location, great facilities, friendly staff, nice inner place to relax. and racoons coming every night! :)

The neighborhood is very noisy, with parties every day that you can hear clearly.

    8EneaPosted on: 1-10-2025

Very central, close to Ferry and ADO bus station, but far away enough to 5a Avenida in order to have a quiet night sleep. The people at the Reception were very friendly and helped us to find good places where to eat.

The Bathroom smells of sewage. Hopefully they are gonna fix the problem.

The location was amazing! Very comfortable room. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it!
