- I love the charm of old Puebla. Having the double balcony was wonderful. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! There was a little bathtub in the room for soaking in. I would say it could stand to be a bit bigger . I would recommend
- The attention that staff have towards clients, they were fabulous. Also I got to say the hotel and the location was amazing and beautiful.
- The bed was super comfortable, friendly staff, great location close to everything. Wonderful place to stay
Cons -
- You get so much for the price it¿s hard to find something negative other than the bathtub could have been bigger.
- When I arrived they had a room ready for me, but since I requested a quiet room, I got a room that was not ready, but the following days they made up the mistake, they created an amazing and clean environment for my son and I.
- We got a Master Suite, that was very roomy. Big problem was the balcony. Yes it has a great view of town but the noise is unbearable. You hear every car, bus, truck and everything and everyone that goes by. There are rooms that don't have balconies

No hot water in the shower. Window without any shade.
Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff were exceptional. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to clean our room and organize our things. Loved the balconies as well!
Shower took awhile to warm up.
Great location. Cute place. Helpful staff.
The pillows were bad. There were no hooks in the bathroom. ( put 3 over the toilet!) how about a chair in the room? A second bedside table would make sense. We had to ask for a coffee maker. Have one in every room. No microwave. It would have helped us to have one. If we couldn’t eat all of our meals a little microwave would help. A small towel to step out of when you leave the shower.
The property was beautiful, a great value, and well located. The beds were comfortable.
The hotel door is locked after 8pm and guests need to knock to be let in. When I arrived late one night, the guard was asleep and didn't let me in, leaving me stranded in the middle of the night. I was thankfully able to stay with a friend. The hotel managers kindly offered to reimburse my night, but have not contacted me in over a month since then and have not given the reimbursement.
The building reminded us a lot of the old palacios in Rome! Remarkable stone and brickwork throughout, yet with touches of modern updates such as bedside power points. We always worry in these old buildings that we will be stuck in a room with no window, or in a stuffy dank corner, but that was not the case. We were even given a choice of rooms, landing on one with a balcony overlooking the street. It helps that the hotel is on a corner lot, so most rooms appear to have window/balcony views. Very charming interior courtyard restaurant with retractable roof overhead. Zocalo and central Puebla attractions nearby - we never had to take a taxi except at check in and check out.
The water supply was a bit tricky. One time we feared the worst when the water stopped flowing in the bathroom, but a chat with reception was all it took to have it running again. Maintenance may be an issue: the towel above the sink was hanging off a limp screw protruding from the wall where a hook had been.We were advised that the front doors of the hotel are closed at 8 pm. After that time we could gain access by knocking.
Hotel in historic building- looked nice, friendly staff
Uncomfortable bed, dark room, noisy since the early morning
Fabulous, obliging, friendly staff.
Rooms on the front street are VERY noisy with traffic. The hotel needs to refocus its priorities - seven cushions on the bed looks very nice, but I'd rather have three cushions and a bedside light. It's not a lot of fun getting out of bed to turn off the lights, nor is it pleasant stumbling about in the dark in the middle of the night on a toilet visit!
The room was large with a king bed quiet The location was great lots of restaurants and activities nearby Puebla was a friendly city Everyone at hotel helpful
We had a good breakfast, the staff were friendly and the location great.
There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom which sometimes made it hard to be in the room - unfortunately!
The location couldn’t be better and the staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We were allowed to choose between two different available rooms and the bed was massive and really comfortable. I loved all the free amenities in the room (body lotion, conditioner, sewing kit, etc)
No parking on premises. The parking is quite a walking distance away and you need to pay on top
The location was amazing
Our room had no windows, the light it’s a bit aggressive since there is no lamps but cramming lights, the air conditioner doesn’t really work, its very far and hidden on top of the bathroom so it never gets hot. If you come with friends, it’s kinda sketchy to go in the shower, there is no room or space to change, the shower get flooded also so it’s not a great option to dress in it. The rooms are not isolated so you can hear everything specially the coffee place in the morning. There is not enough light plugs so your only option to work is in your room.
It was very central and perfect for a night
The room didn't have a real window so the air doesn't circulate well in the room and it smells a bit. There weren't enough plugs
Pretty hotel, bad administration, good restaurant, good location (but there are many other hotels around)
It is a pretty hotel with a very good restaurant/cafeteria, however, the organization at the front desk and the administration is very bad. Location is good, walking distance to every touristic spot in the map, but there are many other hotels around with probably better administration. We weren't happy there due to several issues. It doesn't have parking garage, but they supposedly have an agreement with the parking garage at the convention center. In reality, nobody talks to each other, so when there is a problem, nobody can solve them, and nothing can be done, they just repeat: "I don't have the authorization to do it". The hotel manager (a lady) can't be bothered to come up with a solution and let the employees solve the problem as best as they could, but since they don't have the decision power, it quickly became a headache. In our case, the problem started when we came back from an event after midnight and were not allowed to enter at the garage, even when the guard knew and recognize us as guests of the Hotel Milagro. But since someone at the hotel reception forgot to notify the garage, we were not allowed to enter (after midnight) and not even allowed to enter paying for the night by ourselves. They just denied the entrance to the car. We had to look for a garage in the area (at the time, all were already closed). After one hour driving around, the guy at the hotel called a nearby hotel where they allowed us to park in their garage. It was a bad incident and the next night we moved to the other hotel because we didn't want to be in the Hotel Milagro anymore. It was the best decision.Wii-fi connection is shaky and difficult to find. A/C offered in the rooms is a very small a/c ventilator barely functioning. There´s not elevator to bring the luggage up, there are two flights of steps to climb.
Even though it is located in a crowded area, at night it was quiet, very comfortable. And the restaurant is great.
Beautiful location with nice air conditioned rooms
Credit Card users beware - Overcharged by staff and they refused to refund me. They used something known as Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). According to the Mastercard and Visa guidelines staff must provide THE CONSUMER with the OPTION to pay in either MXN or AUD/USD/EUR/GBP depending on the cards base currency. I was never provided with an OPTION. The person behind the counter sneakily chose to charge me in AUD with a marked up 10% fee without my consent, this is a violation of the Mastercard and Visa rules. I always pick MXN as the fee for using another currency is 10%+. Dynamic Currency Conversion is used by businesses to scam consumers from other countries into paying 10%+ more than they should be, the bank and business share the profits from this, it is completely unethical. I asked for the manager several times throughout my stay but she was never at the property, this was quite disappointing, I was not provided with a refund for the approximately $12AUD (150MXN) that I was overcharged. To be clear I don’t care about the money but I’m offended that this business decided to rip me off and hope the same won’t happen to other patrons. Some advice: if you are going to run a business - DO NOT scam your customers into paying 10% more than they agreed upon. You need to ask for consent for using DCC.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the town center. On Saturday, we began by exploring Calle de Dulce, Zocalo, and the Saturday market in the barrio de Los Sapos. We discovered that the hotel was positioned in a way that made it easy to visit the main attractions. The staff was friendly and allowed us to store our luggage on the day of arrival before check-in and on the day of departure after check-out.
The bathroom has frosted glass and is located right next to the bed. Only two towels are provided for a family of 4.
Nice and centrally located, the cafe downstairs is nice too for breakfast.
This is nitpicking but it didn’t have any natural light.
