Hotel Star Express Puebla - Central CAPU

I had one night coming and going from the bus station so this hotel worked out well. It is a 5 minute walk to the terminal, but far from the main center of town. The breakfast that was included was the best I’ve had in Mexico. A lovely fruit plate with yogurt and granola, eggs cooked perfectly for me, and toast.

I do not like a room with no natural lighting from an outside window. And I thought the price was high for the neighborhood which isn’t so pleasant. Walking nearby on the sidewalk from downtown I screamed when I saw a dead decomposed dog.

The place was so clean! The bed was comfortable. The water in the shower was hot, great pressure, spacious. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was free parking and the breakfast was decent (it's not buffet style - you pick from a predetermined selection).

The fitness facilities should be advertised as more like a room with two machines, one of which was not operational. This shouldn't dissuade anyone from picking the place though as fitness facilities aren't really what hotels/motels are for.

The room was okay but a little bit dark, it has only one very tiny window. Personel very nice, we came very late and we had no problem with check in. dark. Breakfast was delicious and with many options:)

We picked a hotel close to the Bus Station cause we needed to take the bus the next day early in the morning but I wouldn’t go for walk there when it’s dark.

Most of rooms are kind of dark, yet, when we asked for, we got a room with normal window.

The room was well-appointed and very clean. The staff were very professional and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.

No A/C in the room, defective toilet, people talking noise at 2 AM.

For the type of hotel they totally exceed my expectation, the staff was super helpful, room was small but clean but this is a bus station hotel I was expecting so little and they surprised me.

Across the stretch of from the ADO bus terminal. It was clean.

At the station, they have ATM, food and drinks, pharmacy, and money exchange. The breakfast was really good, buffet and with a lot of variety.For sure I will come backThank you

The breakfast area is small, we couldn't wait for a table so we didn't try the food or drinks. The parking area was also full almost at all times during our 3 night stay. There's no elevator.The pillows are not comfortable and there was no blanket, only sheets.

Very close to the bus station so convenient for an early departure Great shower!

The bed was as hard as the floor. It didn't feel like a mattress at all!

Breakfast was excellent as was the service.

The towels smelled bad.The internet speed was OK but the service was really unstable. Totally useless for work purposes.

The property is well taken care of. The place was very clean.My husband and I did not shower nor did we spend the whole night there. We checked in at 3pm and checked out at 8:30pm. The reason we did this was because we were taking a bus out of Puebla and we needed to be out of our Airbnb way before our bus was leaving. I feel really torn about this review. As I said, the people there were very nice. They care all our luggage up a flight of stairs (there’s no elevator). The room was ver clean and they had a beautiful shower. All good things.The bad, though, far outweighs all of that because of one huge flaw….the NOISE! The building is concrete and every sound is magnified. We thought we would take a nap, since we we’re taking a 15 hour bus ride, but even in the afternoon, the noise would not let us sleep.The bed was very firm, a matter of taste, I know, but we did not like it.They try very hard to be a good hotel, but if you’re going there to sleep, you can forget about that.

Very clean rooms. Just opposite of bus station. Good security throughout the night.

The facilities was nice and simple.

Doesn't has bigger parking lot. But the staff was professional and polite. They offer to take care your car.
