- The location. Great views of the basilica-amazing! It would be great if they could retract the window/balcony awning during different times of the day, as the awning obstructs the full view.
- Describing the room (#5) as spectacular is an understatement. The photos provided don't do it justice. From the moment I walked into the room with its 15+ foot boveda ceiling and examined the bedroom, bathroom and narrow balcony ... what struck me was the feeling of quality. In the USA, this room in this location would easily cost $150-$200 per night. Location, location, location. The room was on the third floor facing the Puebla Roman Catholic Cathedral, and also an excellent view of the Zocalo park and plazas and during the weekend I was here I could be on the balcony watching below which resembled a three-ring circus of activity. The quality mattress, pillows and bedding, the thick towels, the toiletries, hair dryer, bathrobe, etc., all added to the enjoyment. I haven't slept that well in many a night.
- Fabulous location. Comfortable bed.
Cons -
- 1) No on-site parking--2 blocks away. They do not valet your car, you must drive it yourself and walk back--No help with your luggage. On your last day, the free parking is only until 12 noon, after that the parking lot charged us--no mention of this
- There was nothing I did not like.
- Long wait for hot water. Awning covered most of the view from the window. I formed one day prior to arrival that parking was not t the hotel but 3 blocks away.

Location, rooftop restaurant, view, in room coffee maker with everything you need for your morning joe
Property needs maintenance, especially as to frayed towels, sagging bed and pillows
Pay the few extra dollars for the terrace if it’s an option. The view is absolutely spectacular. The room is cozy and comfortable.
There is no bell at the front and every time we walked back to the hotel after hours we had to wait until they eventually saw us on the camera, and the first time we waited over 5 minutes nervous about what to do to get in. None of the staff are particularly warm. The location is fantastic, but just be aware the church bells and the musicians in the street are VERY loud in the morning. I’d still stay here again despite the sound.
Great location, beautiful room. Great staff.
I wish there could be a mirror in the room, other than the bathroom one. Especially a full body size mirror.
We had a bad actitud doing the cleanning until we started giving tips. Young lady in front desk with bad actitud. Horrible towels from room service.
Great location. Clean and comfortable room. We got a room with a balcony and straight view to the Cathedral.
The only issue is with parking that is almost 2 blocks away.
The location is excellent.
While the beds in the room had clean bedding, the floors and bathroom looked as if they had not been cleaned for a while. Also, we were provided no hand towels or washcloths. When we inquired, we were told they were out but were given a bath towel to use.
Great location, right in the centre. My room had a balcony overlooking the cathedral. East access to all sites. Room was comfortable and staff really helpful
It was right in the historic center. Easy access to everything.
The hotel is nice, but needs attention, Vanities did not flush properly, shower gets clogged with just the shower water, shower head in our room leaked water from the top, floors, where always dirty with lots of hair everywhere.
Central location
We really wanted to like this unique boutique-style hotel, but unfortunately the sickeningly strong odor of the air freshener and the lack of warm water were deal breakers for us.The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was the air freshener, which smelled like the ones that are commonly placed in toilet bowls. After a brief search, we indeed found a toilet bowl freshener attached to our trash bin. We promptly got rid of it, but the odor lingered. We asked to be transferred to another room — alas this second room didn’t have a working AC unit, no window, and no warm water. The air freshener was also present in this second room, but to a lesser extent. Nevertheless, it was strong enough to bother us throughout the night. Last but not least, the lights didn’t appear to be working properly in the room, which made it difficult to get dressed.
Amazing breakfast and staff servicing the restaurant (waiters and manager).
Bathroom stinks like really bad smell coming out of the toilette and sink. Shower dirty and the hot water gets boiling without notice I burned myself many times. Towels are tearing apart and dirty. Bed linings are dirty and not as expected. This hotel is sold as a boutique hotel but its services and comfort do not match the boutique category. Its overrated and overpriced.
The view was spectacular. The hotel room was cute and clean. The parking was around the block but nice to have. The restaurant on the top floor was great.
The air conditioner made a clicking noise all night.
Location, location, location. This property is right in the middle of many things. Lots to see and taste. My room was charming. I had a view of the cathedral. I was startled when at 10 am the bells started to LOUDLY ring on Sunday. Real men were ringing each bell. It was an amazing experience because it was so loud and special. All the people milling around just paused to savor the experience. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help. I would stay here again.
The rooftop restaurant is really expensive, so use google maps and find hundreds of choices at all price points within a few blocks. (This is not the hotel’s fault and if you dine there you will get a 10% discount”.
Rooms are decent. Location is excellent; in front of the cathedral.
Bad WiFi connection.
Great location - great restaurant and bar upstairs.
Slow WiFi
