Ikonik Hotel Puebla

Gorgeous room. Convenient location. Fair price.

Wifi did not work. This was a bummer as my companion and I wanted to watch Netflix. The restaurant also was meh. My pancakes were not particularly flavorful and had minimal fruit for the price.

Everything, the room is perfect for the weekend, as a couple we were amazed by the service and food.

You can hear voices from other rooms.

When we got there at 3 the rooms were not ready, then they told us they were ready. They handed us the key and sent us to the room. When we arrived to the floor someone from house keeping close to our room told us that the rooms were just getting to our rooms and to go wait in the lobby. They had a cafe so we went in there to have something light to eat so we can be close by, we were all super tier from being on the road for a few hours. We did inform the front desk that we would be in the cafe and if they could just come lets us know when the rooms were ready. We ate slow and just hung out there for at least an hour. They never came and found us so we went to ask again. At that point thy had one of the rooms ready but not the other. The other room was ready within 5 minutes, but later that night we realized that it might have been completed. Later that night we wanted to shower, and one of the rooms had only two towels in a 3 person room and 1 in the 2 person room. Both rooms called to request towels and they said they would send towels up. This was at 10:13 pm we didn’t get them till 11:20 is pm. Once we were asleep we kept hearing noise like doors opening. At one point we thought it might have been our door. The next morning my daughters informed us that someone had opened the door to their room at 2 ish in the morning. Their room did not have the top latch so they actually had placed a chair against the door to just try to secure the door. So the noise from the chair falling over woke them up. However the front desk told them that they accidentally gave some other guest the wrong room key. That was totally unacceptable since I had my three daughters in there. Then at check out they were questioning things from the mini fridge that of course had an extra cost. We didn’t make it clear that we did not take any and that both rooms were already missing things since we got there. We actually took pictures of the fridge when we arrived because they looked empty.

Beautiful design, comfortable, quiet, and close to downtown. Great value!

Rooms had a wonderful view! Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, great location to central Puebla. Overall very clean. Hotel has a good vibe. Great great price.

Very small room and hotel close to road so a little loud throughout the night from cars/trucks.

Stylish, comfortable and affordable hotel. Well located for the central plaza, restaurants, bars etc. Comfortable stay!

Would have liked more facilities, e.g. hotel bar. Rooftop terrace was not in use at time of stay.

Very small room, just one small water in the room for 3 PAX

The water pressure was strong and the water was nice and hot if I wanted it. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was in a good location near everything. Other reviews complained about the noise from the street, the noise did not bother me at all. Overall it was a good stay.

I didn't like that twice during our stay we had to have the front desk reactivate out key because we would walk upstairs and the key wouldn't work. It wasnt a huge deal but just a small inconvenience.

The location is excellent, right by the perimeter of the historic center. The onsite restaurant is very good.

The room faced a busy boulevard not far from the Red Cross so it was extremely noisy. I had requested a room with a balcony but that was a mistake. The staff was very accommodating and I was able to move to an inside room which was super quiet. The balcony is overrated, it's large but has no furniture so you can't really sit outside and enjoy the view plus the noise from the boulevard below is too much.

Didn't get to have the breakfast due to the fact that we found a pair of what looked like dirty underwear, didn't do the sniff test to check, and when this was communicated to the receptionist she only acknowledge my comment but didn't seem to try to communicate this to management or to the cleaning crew to do a better job, the hotel has potential but this lack of attention when cleaning a room is a dealbreaker, wouldn't stay there again, there are clear options at lower prices.

To find underwear that wasn't ours in the bedroom showing the cleaning needs to improve and the dismissive, almost uncaring attitude from the receptionist, I'm not expecting much, but at least a call to management to let them know of this situation would be the appropriate reaction. I've worked in the service industry and there are better ways to deal with situations where the client approaches with a problem, and her reaction was almost like she wasn't surprised to hear that or wasn't the first time, or maybe it was the fact that we checked out that day.

Great location, smack in the middle of all things touristy. Easy walking distance to sites and eateries. The rooms are clean and comfy and although next to the main road, noise is well-controlled. Nice on-site restaurant .

Front desk staff should quit and find new jobs. They seem bothered and unfriendly. Seems they lose pay if they smiled, so they kept that to a bare minimum. Would be better off getting AI or robots at the check-in!

we had a magnificent view over cinco de Mayo parade. the staff were helpful when were robbed and even provided a nice gift.

we believe our credit card was accessed in the room, leading to lots of stress when payments were made and we had to cancel. we were also scammed via the hotels chat in the booking.com app

The hotel’s facilities and decor are very nice. The rooms are functional, and the layout is convenient and practical. The hotel’s localization is excellent.

The AC (air conditioner) didn’t work correctly; it went off randomly and one had to request at the front desk for it to be reset (quite annoying). The water heater was off one morning and we had to shower with cold water. The staff is unprepared, unkind, and has no customer service judgment.

The rooms are a good size. There are plenty of outlets for all computers and phones to charge up. I stayed in the balcony room and you can see the volcano from the balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful! The location is perfect to explore city center and there is a shopping center with restaurants near by which is very convenient if you don't have time to walk around the city center.

My balcony door didn't shut properly, but I felt safe since I was on the third floor. The front desk receptionists were not as friendly, just matter of fact.
