Cons -
- Too expensive
- Hotel hall smells mold, and also inside the room. The floor was not clean, we had to ask the hotel to clean the bathroom as we saw footsteps marks in the bathroom floor. The street was also noisy with water trucks in the street until after midnight that make loud noise. We asked to change the room and the other room didn't have a clean floor either. It was one night only and the experience was not good.
- Rather poor working toilet with too little water pressure. Good quality window though still some traffic noise. Couldn't have the window open . TV not smart , rather outdated

we liked it all!
Location and charm
The room wasn’t what I would call clean. There were 2 old rugs, one of which we removed so we wouldn’t have to walk on it.
We loved the location. The decor and the gorgeous common areas. We liked that they provided filtered water for drinking and brushing your teeth etc since the water in Mexico is not safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved that it was pet friendly
The concept was very nice and unique, we loved the music box inside each room and that everything in the decoration of it was planned and thought. So creative to have costumes you can try on. The rooftop was cute as well. The girls in the front desk were very professional and nice.
We didnt try the breakfast but it wasn't appealing due to the options around the hotel. No Meeting Room / Office area.
Staff was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable.
I didn't like that I did not stay there longer.
The hotel staff helped us arrange a laundry service and deliver the cloth to our room, which is excellent for the travelers having a long multi-week trip. Also, the location is extremely good for visitors traveling to historical center of Puebla, just one block away from the Zocalo, almost the best location you can find in the town.
Nice room, good blackout curtains.
The mattress wasn't great.
Everything. There was a record player with classical records in the room. Decor was music themed and quirky. Gear location.
The location was great.
It seemed a little cheesy with the type of materials such as the painting. It smelled like fresh paint. Also there was a TV but no TV channels to watch or even the local channels. Also, it was a bit noisy during the night, but it seems to be the case everywhere you stay.
Great location. Beautiful rooms and art throughout the hotel. Phonographs and choices for classical music were wonderful. We appreciated the filtered water and coffee as well.
Very warm at night. The AC didn’t cook the room much.
Everything. Excellent location, easy to walk all over. The room was perfect for my 3 night stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
We loved staying at Andante! We really appreciated the music theme and the overall vibe of the place - which was relaxed and quiet. The building is amazing and very spacious, there are super high ceilings throughout and the rooms, at least the one we stayed in was large and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed breakfast a couple days - very delicious. We stayed for 1 week and had a window/balcony over the street, but we never found it loud or annoying.
I loved that they have a water station for refilling water. Great way to reduce plastic consumption. Great location so it’s noisy at night. Ear plugs take care of that. The staff is eager to help and will make your visit memorable.
Hotel Andante is unique and fabulous. The design, decor and art work centered on classical music and composers is quirky, interesting and works. Staff is friendly and helpful. And the location is great, just one block from the zocalo among some of the most beautiful buildings in Puebla, yet surprisingly quiet at night. It is one of our favorite hotel experiences anywhere at a very reasonable cost.
Breakfast is not great.
Having stayed in many hotels across Puebla and Mexico City, I can honestly say that Hotel Andante was one of the most delightful surprises I’ve experienced. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Beethoven-themed room, and it was truly a masterpiece — beautifully decorated with attention to detail, elegance, and a clear love for classical music. The staff welcomed us with such warmth and positivity that we immediately felt at home. The room itself was not only stunning but also remarkably quiet, thanks to excellent sound insulation — despite being right in the center of town, on the corner of two bustling streets, we barely heard a sound from outside.A charming café-restaurant is located on the first floor, where breakfast is served, adding to the hotel’s thoughtful amenities. One small yet incredibly appreciated detail was the inclusion of a mini refrigerator in the room — something surprisingly rare in Puebla hotels — perfect for guests wanting to keep drinks or snacks cool during their stay. It’s clear that the owner is a true lover of classical music and has invested great care into creating a space that’s both memorable and meaningful. He has understood what it means to make guests feel special, and for that, I’m truly grateful. From now on, this will be my first choice whenever I visit Puebla. A heartfelt congratulations to the creators of this unique and inspiring hotel — I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for something special in Puebla.
excellent location in centro historio. The service was excellent and staff attentive. I liked the room and the music theme.
breakfast was not available
Location was great and we liked the themed rooms based on classical composers.
The hotel was a little tired and worn from it's former glory days.
