    • The perfect base to explore Puebla from. Everything was exceptional. The beds and room was super comfy. The staff were beyond amazing. I loved the hike and drawing event on Friday. I met some great travellers. All in all one of the best spaces I have stayed at! Location was easy to get to with the local bus. Major points on location.
    • Beautiful facility, lots of activities you could participate in or not. Well situated within Puebla.Staff so so helpful, and kind. Was always met with smiles and “how can I help you?” Special thanks to SuSu, Alex, Danny, Julian and Jos.
    • Clean facilities, bed are big enough & comfy. I really enjoyed my first ever salsa & bachata dance lesson class here

    Cons -

    • Nothing. Everything was perfect! I will be back!
    • Didn’t have any issues whatsoever. Suggestions:Put a larger garbage bin in the washroom(Women’s dorm) and a second smaller one in main room.Hand towels by sink would be helpful. That way people won’t use the toilet paper to dry hands.
    • No complaints!

Hotel is a few minutes by walk from the centrer, is quite - on the main road, but it’s perfectly soundproofed, so you can’t hear anything! Friendly staff!

This was a really great hostel. The room was clean, the bed was large and the activities put on were really good. I unfortunately got sick with food poisoning while I was in puebla, and the staff were so sweet to me, and also helped me get a private room early so i didn’t have to hang out in the public areas while sick. Really great staff - can’t thank them enough.

    No complaints!

Location is great, staff is really nice, rooms are spacious and clean.

The shower needs a little bit of refurbishing.

Warm welcome by Julian, There are tours and a schedule so you don’t have to plan all by yourself.

Beautiful building and perfect location. Nice staff, free tours, WhatsApp group. Giant room (we had a 3pax private). Stylish.

No hot water in our shower. Beds didn’t feel good. Pillows way too thick.

A lovely hostel, located very close to Puebla's charming historic center and its monuments and cultural sites, yet quiet. Warm and helpful staff with recommendations and tips to navigate the city and its surroundings, and a pretty common space.

The dorm rooms can get really dark even in the mornings with no source of light.

Everything, superb location with an amazing restaurant just across, great facilities, top personnel (also I'm the bar, thanks for the Metallica :D)

    That I didn't stay longer

Nothing ! Bathroom got a stinky weird smell.

Staff are unfriendly and disrespectful (especially one of the guy until might with glasses), manager is the worst and scam me.I booked a night by mistake. I had a very bad experience with them, they are so rude. 10 mins after I ask to get a refund about it, they literally told me to go away and that I won’t get any refund. I wouldn’t recommend to book here, they’re plenty of other hostel close by way much better.

My 4-person room had comfortable beds with effective privacy curtain and lamp for each bed. Nice and quiet for sleeping. The shower was so nice - clean, water heated quickly, good water pressure, nice smelling soap/shampoo. All the staff were terrific — knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly without exception. Definitely recommend the day trip to Cholulua with Julian and the walking tour of Puebla with Ally for an overview of Puebla (separate days).

Everything was great! But I don’t know why Booking.com thinks I’m from Mexico when I write this review — I’m not.

Good location close to zocalo. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is filtered drinking water available free of charge. Bathroom in the dorm had hot water available all the time. Each bed had a curtain, 2 lockers and a light. There is an area outside to hang out and it is nice to talk to other travellers.

The room had a strange smell maybe from the old walls and sometimes the ventilation was poor. Also I felt the bedlinen or the dorm was disinfected with something that gave me a runny nose the next day. If you are sensitive to smells, it might be a problem as the dorm had no window. It was ok if you only planned to sleep there. I would book a single room with a window next time instead of a dorm.

    Big room, nice staff, location

Not so much light in the room, thin walls, beds were not so comfy

Casa Pepe is an outstandingly beautiful little boutique hostal, just in the very best area of Puebla (3 blocks from the Zócalo, the main plaza). The hostal is very charming, the staff very friendly, we would really recommend it and if we ever go back to Peubla, this will be our choice. We had a private room with private bathroom, there are also dorm rooms with shared bath so we can only talk about the private rooms but they are a realy good choice and great value for the price you pay. Highly recommended!

The only thing that could have been even better would be a fridge in the room to have a cold beer in the room.

I'm sure Casa Pepe will meet all your needs as they have met mine. You will find the service real with genuine interest in all regards. I've been visiting Casa for years. Ware you hiking shoes and clean your camera lense to start your day off in the right direction. I find Mexico the Mexican culture, history, traditions and people to be the most inviting and hospitable ever. Take some extra time mingle, try. Mexico will not disappoint.

My most common and repeated complaint is the lack of WiFi in the rooms. Crickets. Read between the lines. Shameful to advertise good Wi-Fi service and the only place to receive it is the common areas. Thats not so bad if it wasn't for the music emanating from the bar/restaurant into the common areas where others are trying to use the WiFi. You can't use WiFi in the rooms and you can't use the WiFi in the common areas.

Great place. Very friendly staff and social environment, with lots of fun activities. Location is conveniently close to the historic center, and I got good sleep each night unlike what happens in lots of other dorms. I had a great experience here.
