Pros +
- Location excellent
- Proximity to downtown area
- Great location -- easy to get to the city centre.
Cons -
- Poor wifi I needed to use mobile data. A simple option of tea and coffee would be great. Breakfast is not worth it better to go out.
- The bed was uncomfortable and only a bedsheet with a bedspread that was cheap material
- 1) Awful air conditioning -- it's literally absent, you have to use a fan instead that, first, is noisy and, second, spreads the air over the room which does not change the interior's temperature. As a result, you have about 30 degrees inside both day and night;2) Drain in the shower sink is tapped -- water gets accumulated and goes out in several hours, so be ready to take shower standing in water (see photos);3) Bed is not clean -- soil and multiple hair of previous guests (see photos);4) Wi-Fi is awful -- it's unstable and of poor connection;5) Despite the declared in Booking.com, the check-out time is 12:00, not 13:00.

Maybe the location since the hotel is in downtown area
Old, moldy bathrooms, dirty, no AC units , very uncomfortable beds, doors with clear windows and see through curtains so no privacy. Unprofessional staff, the hotel advertised parking but the parking is far from the hotel so you have no immediate access to your car in case you have to etc etc.
Location was really good and the room was clean. Bathroom is big and water pressure and temperatire was great.
Since the room has no windows, it can be really hot inside. There was a electric fan provided but the noise kept me from having a good sleep. Also, the bathroom did not have toilet paper and soaps when we got in. We had to go downstairs and request it.
Nice bedPerfectly clean room
No warm water at allWifi wasn't working
Very central and easy to walk to places in the old town
Towels were very old. Shower didn’t properly work (calc impeding the water stream). The bedding was also very old. The “complimentary” breakfast is just a cup of coffee, a piece of fruit and a dry pastry. The bedroom smelled very strong like naphthaline. It was to cover up for the pipe smell which we noticed later.

The location is right at the city center. It is perfect to get to any place in the city fairly quickly. It is in a safe neighbourhood with tons of food options around. Rooms are simple, yet effective.
I did not pay at Booking but wrote here I planned to arrive at 5 pm. The day I planned to arrive they called me saying that I had to arrive before 3 pm or I risked losing the room I reserved. I had to make great efforts and change some plans to make it. I felt it was unreasonable since they allowed me to say in the webpage I'd be there at 5 pm. It was a missunderstanding, and they were kind to me, but maybe it is something to take into consideration.

Rooms are as pictured and clean. Mario at Reception and Sergio the Bellhop were exceptional. Mario accommodated a room change from a 3rd floor walk-up to a ground level room the next day after arrival. My suitcase had a missing wheel and I have bilateral knee replacements; this made it much easier for me! Very close to Cathedral, Zocalo, and Parian.
The rooms were humid and stuffy. I didn't notice that there was no AC upon booking, or honestly, I would've booked elsewhere. The ceiling fan in room 3 is very squeaky and wobbly, so you can't even use it. I had also booked the room with breakfast, but the measly serving of papaya, tea (they had no juice and ran out of coffee), with small muffin was not worth the extra MXN $100.
The lactation is excelent just two from the city center and front of a convenient shop.
Just the lacation.
It was clean
The room had a bad odor. Or it can just be the fabreeze we didn’t like.
The location is amazing! And the rooftop has some of the best views in the city
The bed and blanket were extremely uncomfortable. It’s a very hard mattress and they only give you a sheet for a blanket. There were also no windows which made the roof stuffy. The worst was the noise at night. Because of the way the building is constructed, you can hear everything in the building very loudly and everyone can hear you. Even a simple conversation across the building will be echoed. We consistently were awoken at night by the noise.
The historic entry courtyard was very nice and the location was excellent, very central.
I wouldn't call a small croissant and coffee, breakfast. It doesn't compare to other places we have stayed. Also they wouldn't accommodate us for an early departure breakfast. Our room overlooking the street was noisy with traffic sounds. We asked to move our room to an interior location, which was much better.
is close to the downtown?
I didn't have hot water to shower. The continental breakfast, it is the smallest I have ever seen. I've been to many countries. Never see nothing like that. a coffee. Tiny piece of fruit in a miniature sweetbread. That's what they call continental breakfast

Nothing. Doesn't even deserve any likes
Everything else. Staff was not helpful, and the door to the balxony didn't close, so we heard EVERHTHING, ALL NIGHT. We could hear the night staff laughing and talking all night. Breakfast was disgusting. The coffee burnt and fruit wasn’t in a good state. When we went to complain, all they said was to wait til 3 pm to talk to a manager who might come in. Really bad experience.
Location was good. Beautiful hotel design. The doorman was very friendly and helpful.
The mattresses were horrible in both rooms. All 3 beds squeaked and the mattresses were very worn with visible dents. The staff was hesitant to give us more towels and shampoo when we asked.
The location was great, just a few metres off the zocalo. I felt safe there at all times. It's a pleasant looking building and has a nice roof top terrace. The staff really tried their best to communicate with me; I don't speak Spanish, so communication was difficult. The guy doing the luggage was the only person who really tried to speak English with me and that was very helpful. He even got me a box I needed to pack a plate safely.
The noise levels: one can hear absolutely everything through the walls to neighbouring rooms, and, even worse, through the door and window into the hall. The way the building is designed one can hear every conversation taking place at reception or elsewhere, because there is a huge echo (I could even hear full phone conversations incl. the person on the other end!!). The room was incredibly hot. There was a fan in the room, but it would have added to the noise levels I already disliked. According to booking.com there should have been a free bottle of water which I did not find (when I asked about water they directed me to the shop nearby - not a problem in itself, but perhaps update the description on booking.com so to avoid disappointment). The room had virtually no natural light and the tiny window was broken (it wouldn't open or close properly). So the air in the room was awful. The breakfast consisted of one dry roll, a cup of tea/coffee and some papaya. Maybe there would have been more had I been able to communicate with the two people taking care of the breakfast. I was the only guest at the breakfast, yet they made an impatient impression on me (walking away while I was still talking, not being patient enough to see what I typed into Google translate, taking care of decoration on the wall rather than taking care of me - I got what I needed and was in a rush anyway, but I didn't think the atmosphere during breakfast was very pleasant).
