    • Well when I got there the staff attending told me that we were going to get an upgrade. In mi mind thought I was going to get a room with a view. But that did not happened. We had a view of the ac unit. I did not like that it was in the first floor.

The location was perfect- less than 5 minute walk to the zocalo and to the markets and restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was nice- enjoyed the made to order eggs.

Lobby area could be better designed to allow more hang-out space.

    Great staff, great breakfast!

    Weak WIFI in the room.

    9DaniellePosted on: 11-5-2025

The location was perfect - close to the Zocalo and many restaurants. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Interior was beautiful! I loved all the artwork and the common spaces. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The water in the bathroom had a really strong sulfur smell.

    The Wifi is very spotty.

Very nice hotel. The room was large and overall comfortable, with beautiful view over the city. Staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful, but most did not appear to speak English. Breakfast was nice (but not a buffet). Location was optimal, 3 - 4 blocks from the zocalo.

Logging into the hotel's WiFi resulted in a BIG warning that it was not secure. The backup provided was to use the in-house administration system, but it did not reach the 7th floor so effectively no WiFi there. Breakfast was nice - you ordered when you arrived at the breakfast room. There was no menu card - so had to guess as what was available. This limited ability to order Mexican dishes unless you knew what they might be. While comfortable, the room had a few omissions. Others have noted the lack of a coffee machine, or even a kettle and cups to make your own. There was no desk or chair - just a sort-of easy chair, much too low to access the credenza as a desk. Writing or computer work had to be done while sitting on the bed - just like in a cheap hostel! The "taxi" (really a private car) ordered by the hotel attempted to raise the fare specified by the hotel by 50% when we reached the destination - but backed off when challenged.

it is a nice place, the hotel looks nice, very good location, near zocalo, very clean and friendly staff, lots of open spaces, parking lot close to hotel

Parking payment not specified in the description, i was charged for a room with window with access to hotel landscape which was misleading since there was a small window with a partial view and a big window with view towards a wall and AC pipes

Perfect location. Elegant setting. Amazing view from our room. Wonderful staff. We felt pampered!

We are a family of four and stayed in a room with two double beds. There isn't very much space to store clothes or bathroom items, and not much privacy between the bathroom area and the rest of the room. Great room for a couple, but a little tight for a family.

Amazing location steps from the plaza. Beautiful old building.

The coffee on the first day was undrinkable. Ordering a cappucino didn't help. Coffee in Mexico is great....the second day we went out before breakfast to buy coffee.

The staff and the location are perfect

The linens and towels are kind of old

The food was delicious, and the service was very good. Staff was very courteous, helpful and accommodating. No complaints there. We enjoyed breakfast and other meals at other times. The final touch on all dishes were certainly from an experienced hand of a chef. Congratulations.

Our main concern was that the hotel is not equipped to accommodate senior citizens. For example, to get to the elevator a person needs to walk a fair distance where there are steps on the way and no handrails. Of course it is a very nice hotel with a minimalist flavour, beautifully renovated. We had a room on the fifth floor with a beautiful view.

The room was copious and had a wonderful view of Puebla. Clean enough, the location was perfect for traveling the major sites of Puebla. The staff were friendly.

    There wasn't much I didn't like about.

Great service. Staff extremely helpful. Wonderful breakfast. You can order eggs any way you like. Good quality food and attention..The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner.. We had a late lunch when we arrived and found the food to be delicious.. A bit expensive, but worth. Front desk was extremely helpful with our travel needs and information. I could have hugged everyone of them. The whole staff has a lovely attitude and good spirit. Our room was quiet with the window closed, and had a nice view. Beds comfy, good shower with the hand hold option.

Everything was ok , but I would suggest extra hooks for towels and an extra trash basket in the room so as not to have to walk to the toilet every time we needed to dispose of something.

Lovely property close to town square. Good breakfast. Clean spacious room with comfortable bed.

There was a table/counter that could have doubled for a desk. A desk chair would have been nice.
