Excellent location near the Zocalo. Beautiful rooms with wonderfully historic details. All amenities (bathroom, lighting, refrigerator) were modern and worked well.

Great location in the historic center. This hotel was converted from a very large historic private residence. Our room was large and comfortable. Beautiful views of the cathedral. Lots of restaurants to choose from near by.Updated bathrooms.

All rooms here are on the second floor. Because the building is historic they were unable to install an elevator or ramp. If you have any limitations with regard to stairs this may not be the best fit for you.

Took a long time to get hot water( wasted water) and the shower head sprayed water everywhere but where it was needed.

We had a magical stay there. Our suite (two rooms, each with full bath, attached with a separate entrance) was beautiful; the original colonial woodwork, 15 foot ceilings, modernized so nicely. The linens and beds were superb. We also appreciated the fruit basket!

Very slippery shower floor. It's not a quiet location (little is around there) but it is superb for walking.

The property was gorgeous, a great mix between authentic and modern. The location was close to everything and the staff was always accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Our room was always spotless and so was the whole property in general.

Loved the old colonial home and it’s history. Very nice breakfast and upstairs sitting lounge. The room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here on our next visit. Location was excellent and internet was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful and was able to answer all my questions and they gave excellent advise on where to shop!

All the rooms are upstairs and since the altitude is higher than we are use to climbing the stairs many times in a day was okay for me, however for older adults it could be challenging.

We are experienced travellors. The hotel, room (El Morro) and restaurant area were all aesthetically very attractive, among the nicest we've ever encountered. The room, which was in old spanish style (as was the entire hotel) was fully modernized with all the outlets necessary and the wifi worked perfectly. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Location is walking distance to all the sites in the old city. There was even free covered parking for the car. Highly recommended.

Delicious breakfast but the coffee was disappointing. Service great. There was a musician playing during breakfast and it was a lovely setting in the courtyard with the live music. A wonderful way to start the day!

The wifi was poor - wouldn't have mattered but I had 1 video meeting that I needed to do and the wifi wasn't strong enough - otherwise I was disconnected and loved the property.
