- Convenient location
- We enjoy staying in a central location in a city which gives us access within walking distance of our hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable plus quiet. There was a kitchen to use which was clean and the staff member was available to speak with us in English. The rooftop balcony allowed us to sit and enjoy a drink after a long day of walking.
Cons -
- Hot water is inconsistent during the mornings is fine but during the evening it is not hot.
- No hot water. I asked twice and no response
- We enjoyed our stay and there was nothing that was not to like.

High floor room had a balcony and street view. Location is close to attractions, food, and shopping and still peaceful at night, A great aged building with great internal architecture worthy of photographs, a great restaurant with good affordable food, nice servers, and a very helpful and efficient reception staff. They have everything that a guest needs. As a bonus there is a nice bakery, park and Mexican street food vendors just next door..
This is a great place to stay. However in the night one side of the neighbourhood across the street is a bit dodgy. Also towels are worn out and should be replaced. They look more like mops. Shower style is old but one can live with it as a unique experience !!
Location at downtown
Elevator was not functional and we were at 4th level
Very basic room, but super low price as well. Perfectly OK for my 1 overnight stay.
Great location! The vegetable market around the corner and up the street. A comfortable distance from Zocalo and yet close to absolutely everything.
The hotel had a good location. The car park is a few metres away (there was no problem leaving the car). The breakfast was quite simple, but it was ok ( no bufet, you choose from menu). Nice service in the restaurant. WiFi worked fine.
The rooms in the hotel do not look out, but onto the patio. As a result, the room on the ground floor was dark with no access to light. There are cockroaches in the ground floor rooms (staff said they often come from the sewage system). We had a large one in the shower (fortunately the staff moved us to a room on the 3rd floor where there was more light). None of the rooms had working sockets, the rooms are quite dirty and old, the towels are just fit to be thrown away. You can see that the hotel is making an effort as they have a nice nice hall for Christmas, but the rooms and bathrooms are in a deplorable state.
The staff was nice and helped us with a problem with the safe. The location was good. It was also nice to have a balcony.
The rooms are very old. The parquet was very old and looked very dirty. The shower in the bathroom was clean, but the water jet was not a jet. There were even verms because of the stagnant water. Bath towels should be changed because they are very old too. Also, in the room the light was not optimal at all. The rooms are poorly soundproofed and there is noise very early in the morning.
practically everything: the attention of the staff, the facilities, the restaurant, etc.
The internet connection in the room was terrible
The room is very clean. Very good location. Hot shower. Good Wifi. The hotel is very close to Zocalo, esay to find and very quiet location. You can leave your baggages if your arrive before check-in time. If they ready your room, you can check-in before check-in time.
Convenient to centro histórico. Good for $25 per night. I was a solo traveler.
Towels and sheets were rough, not soft. Bed was hard as a rock but I had no trouble sleeping.
Location is great.
No hot water for a quick shower but there are huge water issues in Mexico at the moment so I understand. The WiFi did not work.
good location, plenty of drinking water, nice open area inside hotel in which to spend time. good bakery opposite
1. not long enough quiet during the night: machine noises in early-morning from the toilet, noisy guests after 9pm2. unable to recommend the restaurant of the hotel
Great location, helpful staff, clean.

Hotel is nicely located, the rooms are very spacious, the restaurant in the building is an asset to. In front of the hotel there's a great bakery and a cafe which I highly recommend. The stuff was nice and helpful (for example - they gave me an extra blanket when I asked, althoug I think it should be available in the room as the nights in February can be very cold).
3 wi-fi nets, none of which was working well. Washbasin outside of bathroom, the water in the shower was warm but not hot and the bathroom itself was not smelling good. The towels should be cleaner (once I received nice and white ones, later they were exchanged for the "fresher" ones which were brownish). Noise from the street is really annoying during the night, especially as the windows are old (also - they don't give good isolation from cold during the nights). The room should be refreshed, repainted, the furniture is quite old.
The manager was wonderful. I liked the place and extended my stay for an additional 8 days.
The WiFi was spotty and frustrating to use.
I liked that it is central..
but the cleanings leave a little to be desired.. all conner are left with dust.. we also had some problems with the hit water and we fixed it a day later ... The cleaning staff is very kind... The receptionist depends on who is working! In the picture it looks better then in real
The friendly staff and the location was great! The fact that they had parking was a definite plus
There was no hot water in the shower. We let it run for more than 5 minutes as suggested
Comfortable beds, good location, free water, good breakfast and lunch available and inexpensive.
A little bit noisy from the street, but this is applicable to all central hotels in Puebla.
