location is excelent to visit the zocalo and cathedral
the hotel is old and not well kept. too much light filters in to the room. leaky faucets and messed up floors
Awesome, and amazing property good value
The location, the staff, The check in processing. Everything was 100%. Perfect. I’ll come back here anytime in the future.
Location
No parking at property, à valet takes the car to a parking lot nearby, and from what I understood there’s no car service after 11pmThe rooms had patio windows so no air running really. Window open or close we hear everything going on in the hôtel so quite noisy to have a good night sleep. The toilet smelled so bad even with the door closed I could still smell the smell of sewers
Great Location. Pretty building, very clean.
Shower leaked first afternoon and no hot water. I asked to change rooms that evening and was told "it wasn't possible" until the next day. They gave me a sheet to mop up the floor. It was too much of a hassle for us to repack and deal with the steep winding stairs again, so we just stayed put. They did fix the shower from leaking next day but still no hot water. No English spoken, so difficult to deal with the front desk over these issues. Bruised old apples and stale rolls served at "continental" breakfast. No milk or cream for coffee. Steep winding stairs to our room on the 3rd floor--very tough with suitcases.
Great location and wonderful staff. The simple breakfast is a good way to start the day. Lovely area to relax on the roof.
Sheets / towels could do with replacing as they are old.
Except the check in lady (late check in at night / evening ) and the guard on duty on that day Other staff were nice
First the staff who check us in was very unwelcoming, made a mistake about the price of the room , refused to speak English and moreover gave us the wrong type of room . Problem was not resolved and she couldn’t care less . She had a awful attitude Room was very small and double bed was tiny Breakfast as other said was a joke . We left and instead of extended found a nicer place for a similar place in a better area.
Great location, beautiful building, nice balcony upstairs, simple breakfast, nice staff
Small room, bathroom smelled bad
Location is good staff is so kind hotel is very cheap!!
there is no wifi, no window, no a thick blanket.it was cold and very noisy in the hallwayif you want only sleep for 1 night, i recommend
Location is very central, easy walk to most things. For one person the room was spacious, staff was helpful. There's also a common lounge to hang out if one wants. The cost includes a small breakfast which is enough to get you out of the house (coffee, juice, plate of fruit and a pastry, and a nice chat with the staff).
I asked for a room with a window, and got one with the window to the street. It is noisy during the day, it didn't bother me, but if someone plans to work, they might bear that in mind. The noise dies off in the evening, so no trouble to sleep. The Internet is fine, but keep cutting off, and you have to log back in (sometimes a lot). There are a few cosmetic issues with the room, but nothing that would bother a shirt stay.
Location staff and room
Location was excellent, friendly staff, good vibe
the shower was difficult to access - i.e. when you turned the water on it would spray on to the floor and there was no way to stop it
Good location
We had many suitcases and a 2 year old. I have stayed here many times previously but this was the first time with my child. We were given a room on the highest floor which involved 2 flights of stairs. I had many suitcases and there was no help taking these up and my daughter hurt herself on the stairs. There was no consideration that we would need a lower floor or atleast help with bags.
Location and charm of the building
Pillows too big and hard, sound and light insulation, breakfast too light and sewers smell in the room.
Right in the Centro histórico closed to everything
Too much noise there is a club right in front and music all night. Could not get a good night sleep
Quiet, clean, with comfortable beds. The hotel is very close to downtown. Ok breakfast. Polite staff
The location is perfect, close to the centre. The breakfast is modest, but acceptable.
The room is too small, but for this price is ok. If the price was higher I would have found another hotel.
Nice and Simple breakfast included to start the day. Front Manageress Marie Louise is very cheerful and approachable.
