- comfortable bed, cleanliness, ac, close to the zocalo and other attractions, good wifi.
- Authentic old time Mexico hotel. Wonderful staff and many interesting fellow travelers. Rooms are dark and quiet, a good thing in Oaxaca. No one likes a communal bathroom but you save big by sharing. They do have many very nice rooms with private bath.
