they lack of restaurant sewrvice
They don¿t provide air conditioning.
Within walking distance from all the historic areas.
The rooms are clean.
The Holloways are not very clean. Also, breakfast should be included for the price.
Friendly staff and nearby Center of Morelia with parking space available.
The facility has a bad smell and saw a couple of insects in the room..
Good location, outer limits of downtown, 0.6 miles (1.0 km) from main, square walking distance. Breakfast is good. Good covered parking at no additional charge
One of the mattress was worn-out. Thin towels The shower drain floods
Installations and infrastructure very good. Food was good too. Most people friendly, providing a friendly service.
Room door in bad shape. Didn't feel safe. Garage with awful service. Bathroom shower with poor hot water. Besides that, it was ok
Location, staff, price.
The entrance of the hotel is very pretty. The staff was nice. The room was comfortable. It is very centric.
You can hear the noise outside. It needs a little love.
The building itself, the hidden garden and the location.
The dining area looked messy, cluttered, beautiful fountain was not in use. Rooms and hallways had old stinky carpet. Mismatched everything, not what I expected from a hotel in Avenida Madero.
Large clean basic rooms. Centrally located. Elevator, but no A/C. Nice price.
Very nice room, comfortable beds, good coffee
Noisy from the street. Our room was on the second floor above a busy street...
Very quiet, close to the main square, clean...it's an older hotel but we'll take care of...the parking was the biggest issue for us. We have a large truck and needed secure parking...this was excellent!!!
Always the pillows....
Great location, wonderful old historic building
Better mattresses and pillows
Clean,comfortable,near central
There is nothing I didn’t like
Great location , breakfast is very good , the staff are friendly and our bed was comfortable . Simple hotel but clean .
Our hair dryer did not work but within an hour the staff moved us to another room . I wish their hotel bar would open . We have stayed 3 times and we have never seen the bar open .
We had a whole range of upsetting experiences during our first day, but, to be fair, the hotel does have its positive sides, so here we go: fairly central location - the main square is about 7 blocks away; free underground parking; excellent wi-fi; the cleaning staff really try their best - we can't complain about the way the room was cleaned; decent shower, both in terms of water pressure and the hot water temperature; the room was warm - we didn't have to use the warm air conditioning even when it was +2C outside.
Something is seriously wrong about the way the hotel is run. With the exception of a few staff who were both nice and helpful, the majority of the personnel ranges from nice, but useless through openly disinterested to unfriendly and even aggressive. Health and safety is unheard of: my husband fell down in the dark corridor and damaged his knee, because the steps were unmarked, unlit and badly connected to the make-shift ramp they use to run linen trolleys. Breakfast food is brought from somewhere outside by car, which explains other people's complaints that they don't even cook your eggs the way you want, pretending they do it the "international" rather than the Mexican way. We came at 1pm and asked to park the car, which we were allowed to do, but the receptionist couldn't be bothered to explain how to drive to the back of the building (not obvious with one-way streets all around the block). They had no map to give us and took a while to show the location of the hotel on the only one they had under the glass. My children and I were almost thrown out of the lobby toilet by the cleaner who told us he had to clean them (all 4 at the same time, apparently - no sign was put to show cleaning was on and he was in the Men's toilet while we were entering the Women's), so we had to respect his work and wait. My 190cm tall husband had to close the door and guard it for the cleaner to put up with the fact we were not going to leave without using the toilet, which we badly needed after a 4 hours drive. I wouldn't even mind the holes in the towels, if we felt the hotel team tried to please, but they really didn't and some people don't look like they have ever been trained to work in a hotel or even remotely understand what it means. In a way, this was probably the worst hotel experience I have had in 30 years of travelling around the world.
