Pros +
- The classic colonial look with modern twist to it.
- The architecture of the building and the way they incorporated modern elements with old elements. The room (10) was really cool. I can't imagine any more luxurious contemporary/old styling. It is one of the nicest I have ever stayed.
- Excellent location, beautifully maintained, friendly staff.
Cons -
- At times employees didnâ≢t realize I was a guest of the hotel. Iâ≢m not sure if it was just the way I was dressed
- Bars close by can be very loud at night on a Friday evening
- The only not so bad part is that sometimes there’s loud music outside late at night, and the clock sounds at every hour (I’m used to it so I like it) we were so tired we didn’t care, but the hotel provides earplugs for you if needed!

The property was beautiful and luxurious. In the best location surrounded by restaurants, bars, cathedrals, museums, libraries, shopping, etc. I felt safe at all times. The staff was so attentive and helpful. It felt like home away from home.
Amazing! The hotel is beautiful. The staff is amazing, from the time we checked in to the time in which we checked out. The location is absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend one of the balcony rooms for the view. The room was clean and beautiful and this is coming from a extremely picky person.
The best location, the place is a Gem! The staff is so friendly and professional!

Centrally located. Great to be walk about town . Don’t take any of the tours. Great staff.
Beautiful hotel. Loved the main sala - couches were comfortable and coffee in the morning. Great room and bathroom, loved the robes and slippers.
Leaving.
The property is impeccably inspiring with its proximity to the Cathedral of Morelia. Its neo art meets colonial detail. The home of Mexicos first emperor had me sold on this grandiose castle turned hotel. The history of this radical that influenced and was part of the Mexican Independence movement. With his home proximity near Jose Maria Morelos de Pavon another affluent that was a key man in the Mexican Independence was only a couple of blocks away. I loved it! The staff was enriched with knowledge and gave me a tour map with go to place suggestions. I loved the room, music, Champaign welcome and staff.
Perhaps continental breakfast per floor would have been nice.
Located directly across from the cathedral and the jardin. Staff were excellent - friendly and welcoming! Our room had a fabulous view of the cathedral from the large terrace. The bed was very comfortable.
Expensive, but overall was worth the cost. Loud construction noises lasted until 10 PM on our second night - one of the hotel roofs (next to our room) was being resurfaced. The noise occurred only on the second night.
Location, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge and comfortable, based on the hotel stay, staff, looks and food, I would have paid more for this stay.
The rooms are modern and spacious. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The views were amazing! Having a functioning a/c was also a major plus.
I didn't realize the Cathedral's bells ring late into the night. Although our rooms had a beautiful view, the loudness from the street and bells was frustrating.
The staff and cleanliness !
The dinner was unsatisfactory, which was a bummer because the breakfast was delicious !
Cantera 10 is a stunning historic hotel smack in the middle of Morelia. our room was a work of art with soaring ceilings, huge amounts of space and directly across from the cathedral.
The only thing wrong with our stay was that it was of longer.
location is great! food was also very good.
the room was smaller than expected, but you pay for the view.
Really nice room. Staff was great, I really liked the stay. The view was great. They offer some really great wine .
There was an issue with the lighting of the restroom that i asked to have it fixed but they didn't .
The people was very polite, very good services and very clean
Is not much to do every night was nice, clean and polite
beautiful !! great spot right in front of cathedral!! employees are soooo nice !!
location. and the hotel was beautiful
the second level where the rooms are located, common area, is a little dark. but it’s still a great area
